A fuel control valve includes a case and a movable body that is movably housed in the case. The case has a valve seat surface shaped in an inner cone shape whose inner diameter increases toward a tip. A valve element surface is operable by the movable body, and is in contact with the valve seat surface along a seal line in a valve closed state. The valve element surface is separated from the valve seat surface in a valve open state. Plural grooves are disposed between the tip and the seal line to expand radially outside from the valve seat surface. Plural projections are defined between the grooves to intermittently leave the valve seat surface.

Fuel control valve

A fuel supply apparatus includes a fuel pump, a filter element, and a passage element. The fuel pump is transversely arranged inside a fuel tank to discharge fuel sucked from a suction port. The filter element defines an inner space communicated with the suction port inside the fuel tank to filter the fuel. The passage element defines an inner passage inside the fuel tank to introduce the fuel from the inner space into the suction port through the inner passage. The suction port is located to be deviated toward one end of the filter element in a specific lateral direction. The inner passage is communicated with the inner space, and extends from the suction port toward a center of the filter element in the specific lateral direction.

Fuel supply apparatus

A fuel supply system includes a plurality of fuel pumps, and one suction filter. The suction filter includes connection portions that are connected to pump inlets of the fuel pumps, and an interval adjusting member that adjusts the interval between the connection portions in accordance with the interval between the fuel pumps. Thus, it is possible to fit the suction filter to the fuel pumps without changing the interval between the fuel pumps. Because the interval between pump outlets is not changed, it is possible to minimize the problems that are likely to occur when the suction filter is fitted to the fuel pumps.

Fuel supply system

A fuel pump module is provided with a fuel pump for sucking and discharging a fuel in a fuel tank, a fuel filter downstream of the fuel pump for removing a foreign matter in the fuel, and a fuel pressure control valve for adjusting discharge of the fuel that flowed out from the fuel filter to a combustion chamber. Furthermore, fuel pulsation damping means (a damping portion) is formed between the fuel filter and a flow-out chamber formed below a filter element in the fuel filter and/or a fuel pressure control valve which is an adjacent portion to the flow-out chamber.

The intermediate part is fixed between the unit case body, which integrally houses the fuel pump and the filter element, and the unit case supporting flange, which hangs the pump unit from the upper wall of the fuel tank. A height Ha of the intermediate part is set to correspond to a height difference between a height Ht of the fuel tank and the sum of a height Hb of the unit case body and a height Hc of the unit case supporting flange. The wall is arranged in the proximity of the lower end of the intermediate part to make a fuel channel formed below the wall small and avoid generation of air stagnation in the fuel channel.
