According to a dental image display device, a dental surgical operation device, and a dental image display method, a 2D captured image of a tooth as a surgical operation target that is captured with visible light in an articulation face direction, and an articulation face direction converted 2D image obtained as a result of displaying 3D information, which is acquired on the tooth and includes information on a root canal inside the tooth, two-dimensionally on a predetermined plane in the articulation face direction, are displayed in correspondence with each other on a monitor.

The present invention has an object of providing an X-ray CT imaging device which can direct X-ray to an area of interest appropriately even when, for example, the height of the area of interest with respect to the X-ray detector, which is revolving, varies with respect to the revolution direction, and thus can reduce the amount of unnecessary exposure to the X-ray and can perform X-ray imaging of the area of interest with certainty. In an X-ray imaging apparatus that performs X-ray CT imaging, an X-ray generator () that generates an X-ray cone beam (BX) and an X-ray detector () that detects the X-ray cone beam (BX) radiated to an object (specifically, image object (OB)) are revolved for 180 degrees to be opposed to each other with the object being located therebetween. Further, the X-ray generator () is moved such that a revolution reference point (CP) that is set on an optical path (CB) of the X-ray cone beam (BX) goes round of a predetermined oval shape while the X-ray detector () and the X-ray generator () are revolved for 180 degrees. Setting is made such that a CT image area (CA) to be imaged by the irradiation of the X-ray cone beam (BX) has an approximately triangular shape through the above-mentioned operation.

X-ray imaging apparatus

A medical X-ray apparatus comprising a supporting part for supporting an X-ray generator and a two-dimensional X-ray detector while interposing an object to be examined therebetween, a radiation area restricting part for restricting a radiation area of X-ray generated from the X-ray generator, and a scan driving part for scanning the object with the X-ray restricted by the radiation area restricting part as X-ray beam and for executing radiography. Medical X-ray apparatus

An X-ray imaging apparatus includes an X-ray generation part, an X-ray detection part, and a revolution drive mechanism. The X-ray generation part has an X-ray generator including a cathode and an anode, and emits an X-ray beam from the X-ray generator. The X-ray detection part detects the X-ray beam. The revolution drive mechanism performs X-ray imaging by revolving the X-ray generation part and the X-ray detection part around the object while the X-ray generation part and the X-ray detection part are opposed to each other with said object interposed therebetween. The X-ray imaging apparatus controls a restriction part to thereby restrict an X-ray transmission in such a manner that the focal spot size of an X-ray beam used in X-ray CT imaging of a relatively narrow imaging region is smaller than the focal spot size of an X-ray beam used in X-ray CT imaging of a relatively large imaging region.

In an X-ray CT imaging, an X-ray generator () and a two-dimensional X-ray detector () are opposed to each other between an object and are rotated by a rotary shaft () around the object. At least one of the rotary shaft supporter () and an object holder () includes a movement mechanism () for moving a supporter () for the X-ray generator and the X-ray detector relative to the object. In offset scan CT imaging, the rotation of the supporter by the rotary shaft is performed simultaneously with the relative two-dimensional movement of the rotary shaft by the movement mechanism. In the relative two-dimensional movement, the position of the rotary shaft is moved according to the rotary angle of the supporter along a circular orbit around the center of a CT imaging region in a plane crossing the rotary shaft. Thus, it becomes possible to image a larger region of interest of the object.

An object of the present invention is to provide an image processing method, etc. capable of producing a panorama tomogram with a simple operation whenever required by the operator. The present invention relates to an image processing method for producing a panorama tomogram of the dental arch using the X-ray projection data on the dentomaxillofacial region obtained by the X-ray computer tomography. The image processing method according to the present invention includes the steps of retrieving the dental arch projection data corresponding to the dental arch from the X-ray projection data based on the preset position and shape information to specify the position and shape of the dental arch from the X-ray projection data (S) and generating a panorama tomogram by executing a predetermined process using the dental arch projection data (S).

In a medical digital X-ray imaging apparatus having a plurality of imaging modes including computed tomography mode, a supporter supports an X-ray source and a digital X-ray sensor having a two-dimensional detection plane for detecting X-rays, while interposing an object between them. An image reconstructor acquires data from the digital X-ray sensor and reconstructs an image based on the acquired data. An operator selects one of a first imaging mode and a second imaging mode. The second imaging mode has an irradiation field different from the first imaging mode and has an area to be read in the digital X-ray sensor smaller than that in the first imaging mode.

Medical X-ray imaging apparatus and X-ray detector for using the same

In an X-ray computerized tomography scanner, a correction phantom embedding an X-ray absorbing object is put on or around a non-vertical rotary axis between an X-ray source and a two-dimensional X-ray detector, and two dimensional imaging data of the phantom is acquired. Then a locus of the X-ray absorbing material is determined in the two-dimensional imaging data, and based on the locus an ideal locus is obtained in the direction of the rotary axis. Next, a difference between the calculated position of the ideal locus and a measured position is determined in the direction of the rotary axis. The difference is used to correct deviation in the direction of the rotary axis.

Method and apparatus for X-ray image correction

There is provided a new X-ray imaging apparatus by the use of which X-ray CT and panoramic imaging can be effectively performed. In an X-ray imaging apparatus which rotates an X-ray generating section and an X-ray detecting section around an imaging object arranged between these X-ray generating section and the X-ray detecting section and also detects in the X-ray detecting section X-rays having been radiated from the X-ray generating section and transmitted through the imaging object to form an X-ray image, a panoramic imaging mode in which the X-ray generating section and the X-ray detecting section are driven to form a panoramic image of the imaging object and an offset scan/CT mode in which the X-ray generating section and the X-ray detecting section are driven to form a tomographic image of the imaging object are set, so as to selectively execute these two imaging modes. Consequently, the panoramic imaging mode and the offset scan/CT mode can be arbitrarily selected, thereby allowing formation of an X-ray imaged image that is optimum for treatment.
