In order to determine, in a cancer test using nematodes, whether or not the nematodes used in the cancer test are adequate, the present invention is characterized in that after a plate on which a urine from a subject and the nematode are set is placed, a cancer test apparatus performs imaging for quality assay of the nematode during the initial two minutes; an analysis apparatus determines a quality of the nematode using the imaging result; after taxis of the nematode is completed, the cancer test apparatus performs imaging for cancer test assay by the nematode; and the analysis apparatus determines the presence or absence of a cancer in the subject using the imaging result.

Cancer test system and method for assessing cancer test

A cancer analysis system includes, so as to perform an efficient image analysis in a cancer screening test using nematodes: a light source unit that irradiates a plate on which nematodes and a urine sample are plotted, from below; a photographing unit that takes an image of the plate irradiated by the light source unit; and an analyzer that analyzes the image taken by the photographing unit. The analyzer: couples a prescribed number of pixels in the image into a larger number of pixels thereof; and performs a chemotaxis assay of the nematodes based on a time variation of information on a luminous center of gravity of the image.

Cancer analysis system and cancer analysis method

The ultrasonic CT device includes: a first water tank configured such that an object is inserted therein, the first water tank being filled with a medium through which an ultrasonic wave passes; a ring array that irradiates an ultrasonic wave to the object and detects an ultrasonic wave reflected by the object while moving on an outer surface of the first water tank; and a signal processing unit that generates a tomographic image of the object based on a signal obtained by the ring array. The ultrasonic CT device further includes: a second water tank that houses the first water tank and the ring array; and a lid having a hole or a notch which is provided on a side of the object in the second water tank and which drains the medium.

There is the problem that a liquid culture medium fed by a pump has a high frequency of contact with a gas during movement in a tube, and the pH value of the liquid culture medium before and after feeding changes easily. In a liquid feeder and a cell culture apparatus provided therewith, a feed pipeis connected with a gas bag, the liquid to be fed into the feed pipeis fed so as to be sandwiched by a gas for suppressing the qualitative changes of the liquid. Furthermore, the gas bag is connected with a containerfor holding a liquid, and holds the gas for suppressing qualitative changes of the liquid in a gas phase of the container.

To realize a sample lifting and lowering device capable of easily responding to increase of a diameter of a sample with light weight and high rigidity as well as with less directional dependence of rigidity as the sample lifting lowering device arranged above a horizontal movement mechanism. The sample lifting and lowering device includes first and second lifting and lowering mechanisms that lift and lower a sample stage to which the sample is fixed, first and second driving devices that drive the first and second lifting and lowering mechanisms to be lifted and lowered individually and a controller that synchronizes lifting/lowering operations of the first and second lifting and lowering mechanisms by the first and second driving devices by first and second control signals, in which the first lifting and lowering mechanism includes a first deceleration mechanism generating a first drive output obtained by decelerating a first drive input given from the first driving device in a direction different from a direction of the input, the second lifting and lowering mechanism includes a second deceleration mechanism generating a second drive output obtained by decelerating a second drive input given from the second driving device in a direction different from a direction of the input, and directions of the first and second drive inputs are different from each other as well as are not on the same straight line.

An automatic culture device which employs closed-system culture vessels and in which, when a passage part () and a rotational valve mechanism () are configured, the multiple culture vessels in a culture vessel part () can be rendered equal in liquid-feeding conditions by, for example, regulating the length of each passage. As a result, the evenness in quality of cells incubated in the multiple culture vessels is rendered possible. Furthermore, by providing a mechanism which enables a user to normally set passages in the device, the evenness in quality of the cells is rendered possible likewise.

A fine particle detection device according to the present invention includes: a vaporization device that vaporizes the fine particles trapped by a trap device by vaporization or decomposition; a first flow passageway in which a mixture of a component vaporized by the vaporization device and another component flows; a second flow passageway branching from the first flow passageway in a direction of inertial force acting on the other component; a third flow passageway branching from the first flow passageway in a direction different from the direction of the inertial force; and an analysis device that analyzes a component introduced into the third flow passageway.

A trace detecting system includes detection means to detect the size (vertical and horizontal dimensions) of an inspection target, and selects an air nozzle capable of spraying air jet at 15 m/s or more to the surface of the inspection target for air jet spraying.

Sample fine particles attached to an inspection object are identified simply and with high accuracy, and an increase in operation rate and a decrease in device size are achieved. The inspection object is transported into a sampling chamber defined by a pair of side walls and an upper wall enclosing a part of a transport route of a transport unit. The inspection object is sprayed with compressed gas from an air nozzle, the peeled sample fine particles are aspirated into a collector, and the sample fine particles are separated from the aspirated gas for analysis. The air nozzle is disposed on one of the side walls defining the sampling chamber. The collector is disposed under the other side wall as a container independent from the sampling chamber.

Attached matter inspection device

Provided is a technique of analyzing particles in real time while collecting and condensing the particles continuously. Gas and/or particles as a detection target substance that are attached to an authentication targetare removed by air flow from a blowing region. The removed sample is sucked and is condensed and sampled at a sampling region, and ions of the sample are generated at an ion sourceand are then subjected to mass analysis at a mass analysis region. Determination of the obtained mass spectrum is made as to the presence or not of a mass spectrum derived from the detection target substance, and a monitordisplays a result thereof. Thereby, the detection target substance attached to the authentication targetcan be detected continuously in real time, promptly and with a less error rate.
