In an electrical connector for circuit boards or blades, a holding portion formed in a housing has, for each blade, holding grooves that hold the front portions of the blades, and at least one of the above-mentioned multiple blades is fixedly secured in place within one of the corresponding holding grooves while the rest of the blades are made movable through a small gap within the respective corresponding holding grooves. With this arrangement, the fixed blade may be used as a reference while the other blades are free to move slightly during a mating step. In addition, such blade securement may be of use of resilient latches () positioned at both ends of each blade (). At engagement to a mating connector, housing portion () of the housing is to provide support for ends of the blades ().

Right-angle electrical connector

An intermediate connection electrical connector includes a plurality of blades and a supporting member for supporting the blades arranged in an arrangement direction. The supporting member includes a surrounding wall portion for surrounding the blades and a regulating portion for positioning the blades. The surrounding wall portion includes a side wall portion and an edge wall portion. The side wall portion is at least partially formed of an electromagnetic wave absorbing material. The regulating portion is disposed inside the surrounding wall portion to define a blade accommodating space for accommodating the blades.

Intermediate connection electrical connector

The present invention involves connectors for reducing Far-End Crosstalk (FEXT) through the use of novel polarity swapping to negate the cumulative effect of FEXT. Skew adjustment is used to improve the FEXT cancellation from polarity swapping. The polarity reversal location or locations among FEXT sources are optimized to achieve maximum FEXT cancellation. The novelty polarity swapping technique can be applied to a wide variety of connectors, such as mezzanine connectors, backplane connectors, and any other connectors that can benefit from FEXT reduction.

Reducing far-end crosstalk in electrical connectors

A middle electrical connector includes a plurality of terminals disposed on a terminal arrangement plate. A housing holds the terminal arrangement plate. The terminal arrangement plate has retaining grooves to hold the terminals at a plurality of positions. The retaining grooves includes a front retaining groove and a back retaining groove having at least one of a shape or a size different with each other. The front retaining groove holds a front retained portion of the terminal on a front portion side. The rear retaining groove holds a rear retained portion of the terminal on a rear portion side. When the terminal is inserted, the front retained portion is allowed to pass through the rear retaining groove.

Middle electrical connector

In a ratchet wrench, a frictional force generation mechanism including a first guide bush and a disc spring is attached to a shank with a locking pin to form a shank assembly. Spring force of the disc spring acts only on the inside of the shank assembly. The shank assembly is inserted from a central space of a first annular hold portion toward a second annular hold portion, and the shank is held by an inner wall of the second annular hold portion. In the back side on which the shank assembly is inserted, the drop-out of the shank assembly from the central space side of the first annular hold portion is prevented by a snap ring attached to a groove of the first annular hold portion. With this arrangement, constant friction is applied to the shank.
