An inductive load drive device using a DC--DC converter circuit with which a high voltage is obtained by the discharge of electromagnetic energy stored in a coil to a capacitor, in which a bias is applied to the magnetic core of a coil (L) with the use of a permanent magnet (Mg) in the direction opposite to the magnetic flux induced by a current so as to increase the electromagnetic energy stored in the coil (L) and make it possible to perform efficient discharge with a small coil.

An optical connector assembly (1) for connecting an optical fiber (9), an optical element (4) (light-emitting element or light-receiving element), and an electric 5 circuit together. A bolt (32) of an optical fiber-mounting fitting in which the optical fiber (9) is inserted in the hole of an electric seal (32) and a bolt (31), is screwed into a threaded hole formed in a housing (2) of the plug (1) that accommodates the optical element (4) in order to couple the optical fiber (9) to the plug (1). The connection between the optical element (4) and the electric circuit is accomplished by a jack (20) and the plug (1) is provided with a lock mechanism based on a push-type lever (20), featuring improved sealing performance against water, oil, dust and dirt.

Optical connector assembly

In a measuring differential amplifier having first and second input terminals for subtracting a first signal applied to the first input terminal from a second signal applied to the second input terminal to obtain a subtraction and for outputting a signal corresponding to A times of the subtraction, a circuit for reducing an offset generated during measurement. Prior to the measurement, the second signal is applied to the first and second input terminals so that the differential amplifier outputs a voltage corresponding to A times of a difference between the second signals, i.e., A times an offset voltage. At this time, the differential amplifier is connected at its output terminal to one end of a capacitor grounded at the other end so that the voltage corresponding to A times of the offset voltage is applied to the capacitor for charging. During the measurement, the output terminal of the differential amplifier is disconnected from one end of the capacitor so that the voltage charged in the capacitor is applied to the adder and multiplied by 1/A to become again the offset voltage. The adder adds a signal indicative of the offset voltage to the first signal to obtain an addition signal and supplies the addition signal to the first input terminal of the differential amplifier. Thus, the input offset voltage is canceled by an offset voltage newly generated at the differential amplifier.

Offset drift reducing device for use in a differential amplification

A novel encoding method which facilitates handling at the time of demodulation (decoding) and is capable of further alleviating a burden imposed on a demodulation (decoding) circuit. When an input NRZ code signal is at, for instance, a logical '0' level during a given unit bit time, encoding is effected to obtain a signal having the same form as that of a CMI code such that the signal is set to a logical '1' level in correspondence with a first half of the unit bit time, and to the logical '0' level in correspondence with a second half thereof. Similarly, when the input NRZ code signal is at the logical '1' level during a given unit bit time, encoding is effected to obtain a signal such that the signal is unfailingly set to the logical '1' level during its initial bit time, and thereafter only during a bit time when the NRZ code signal is at the logical '1' level during the unit bit time, the logical '1' level and the logical '0' level are alternately repeated for each unit bit time. By virtue of this encoding, a maximum interval between adjacent signal rise or fall timings is reduced to a bit time of two bits.

A load control device for a working tool of a construction vehicle in which a signal detected by a speed detector or a traction force detector is fed back to produce a deviation signal between said signal and a desired signal. A memory unit has stored a desired value of speed or traction force for each acceleration and outputs the desired signal corresponding to an acceleration signal from an acceleration detector. The working tool is moved up or down according to the deviation signal and, through the feedback mechanism, the load applied to the working tool is automatically controlled so as to enable the construction vehicle to work at maximum work efficiency without operator's efforts.
