Pressure-sensitive recording sheet

A pressure sensitive recording sheet which uses specified raw paper as a paper support. The raw paper has a fiber length distribution such that the total amount of a percentage by weight of a 24 mesh residue and that of a 42 mesh residue is 65% or less by weight of the total residue as determined in accordance with the fiber classification method (JIS P-8207) and thereby both decreased process fog and increased color density of the developed images are attained.

Paper for electrostatography using encapsulated toner

A pressure-sensitive recording sheet is described. The sheet is comprised of a paper substrate which is treated with succinic acid derivatives having an alkenyl group or alkyl group containing from 4 to 18 carbon atoms, or salts thereof. This pressure-sensitive recording sheet is greatly reduced in the formation of fog which occurs in printing the sheet. Thus, it is very useful as no carbon paper.

Pressure-sensitive recording sheets

A heat-sensitive recording sheet is disclosed. The sheet comprises a base paper and a heat-sensitive color forming layer on the base paper, wherein the base paper has a density of 0.9 g/cm.sup.3 or less and its surface on which the heat-sensitive color forming layer is to be coated has an optical contact ratio of at least 15%.

Heat-sensitive recording sheets

A heat-sensitive recording paper for producing recorded images in combination with a thermal head is disclosed. The recording density and resolving power of the image are improved due to the use of a base paper prepared using a pulp having a Canadian standard freeness above 400 cc as the support for the recording paper.

Heat-sensitive recording papers

A heat-sensitive recording paper is disclosed. The paper is comprised of a support base which is made of a paper having a density 0.9 g/cm.sup.3 or less and a heat-sensitive recording layer coated on the support base. The surface of the heat-sensitive recording layer has an optical contact ratio of 7% or more. By utilizing the particularly disclosed support base paper and adjusting the optical contact ratio of the surface of the heat-sensitive recording layer, the resulting recording paper can give high heat conductivity between the surface of the recording layer and a recording element. Accordingly, the recording paper has a fast response speed and can produce a high density image without disadvantages such as increased fog formation.

An ink-jet recording method is described for producing a recorded image on an image-receiving sheet with a jet of aqueous ink, wherein an ink jet is projected onto an image-receiving sheet comprising a surface layer containing a pigment, and said surface layer is capable of adsorbing a coloring component in said aqueous ink.

Method of ink-jet recording

An ink jet recording sheet containing a basic latex polymer is described, which can provide images, having excellent water resistance properties and high image density, by jetting thereonto an aqueous ink containing a water-soluble dye. In the case of applying a multicolor ink jet recording to the recording sheet, color images having excellent color reproduction are obtained.

An ink-jet recording method is described comprising applying an ink-jet onto a synthetic pulp paper and then heat-treating the synthetic pulp paper to fuse synthetic pulp, to obtain an ink-jet recording having high density, water resistance, and color-reproduction properties.
