This invention relates to a thermoplastic elastomer composition comprising 5 to 30 parts by mass of ethylene-&#x3b1;-olefin-non-conjugated polyene copolymer (A), 20 to 40 parts by mass of crystalline olefin-based resin (B) having a density of 0.90 g/cmor more and 0.92 g/cmor less, 20 to 40 parts by mass of high-density polyethylene (C) having a density of 0.94 g/cmor more and 0.97 g/cmor less, 5 to 12 parts by mass of ethylene-&#x3b1;-olefin copolymer (D) consisting of ethylene and &#x3b1;-olefin having 3 to 12 carbon atoms, and 5 to 9 parts by mass of silicone compound (E) (with the total amount of (A), (B), (C), (D) and (E) being 100 parts by mass), and to an automotive glass run channel formed by the thermoplastic elastomer composition.

[Problem] To provide a thermoplastic elastomer composition for foaming, which has sufficient foamability and provides a molded article having good appearance. [Solution to Problem] A thermoplastic elastomer composition for foaming, which comprises 10 to 40% by weight of a partially or completely crosslinked ethylene/&#x3b1;-olefin/non-conjugated polyene copolymer rubber (A) comprising ethylene, an &#x3b1;-olefin of 3 to 20 carbon atoms and a non-conjugated polyene, 3 to 33% by weight of an ethylene/&#x3b1;-olefin copolymer (B) comprising ethylene and an &#x3b1;-olefin of 3 to 20 carbon atoms, 10 to 40% by weight of polypropylene (C) having a melting point, as determined by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), of 40 to 170&#xb0; C., 10 to 45% by weight of a softener (D) for rubbers, and at least one substance selected from an isotactic propylene-based polymer (E-a) in an amount of 1 to 30% by weight and a syndiotactic &#x3b1;-olefin-based copolymer (E-b) in an amount of 1 to 20% by weight, with the proviso that the total amount of the components (A), (B), (C), (D), (E-a) and (E-b) is 100% by weight.

Disclosed is a thermoplastic elastomer composition containing 10-60 parts by weight of a non-crosslinkable crystalline polyolefin resin (A), 1-30 parts by weight of a specific propylene 1-butene random copolymer (B) and 89-10 parts by weight of an ethylene &#x3b1;-olefin non-conjugated polyene copolymer rubber (C) which is composed of ethylene, an &#x3b1;-olefin having 3-20 carbon atoms and a non-conjugated polyene, in such amounts that the total of the components (A), (B) and (C) is 100 parts by weight. The thermoplastic elastomer composition is dynamically crosslinked by an extruder. This thermoplastic elastomer is excellent in moldability and economic efficiency, and enables to obtain a molded body exhibiting sufficient adhesion strength to a vulcanized rubber or thermoplastic elastomer without the intermediation of an adhesive layer, as well as a lightweight molded body having sufficient hardness and rubber elasticity.

[Means for Solving the Problem] A polyolefin composition comprising a syndiotactic &#x3b1;-olefin-based copolymer (A), a polyolefin resin (B) (other than polybutene (C)), polybutene (C), and if necessary, an ethylene-based copolymer rubber (D).

The olefinic thermoplastic elastomer composition (C) is a composition comprising [1] a specific syndiotactic polypropylene copolymer (c), and [2] at least one selected from a polypropylene resin (d) and an olefinic thermoplastic elastomer (e).
