A miniature motor in which female terminals are substantially embedded in an end cap, and brush arms and the female terminals are electrically connected to each other via internal terminals provided on the inside end face of the end cap; the female terminals are formed into a substantially h longitudinal section; contact ridges for making contact with male terminals to be connected are provided on both sides of the opposed inside surfaces of the female terminals in such a fashion as to protrude in a longitudinally staggered arrangement; the bifurcated ends of the female terminals face the outside end face of the end cap; and the area near both ends of the female terminal in the longitudinal direction is supported by the inside surface of a hole provided on the end cap.

A rotor insulating core for miniature motors comprising a stator having a field-forming permanent magnet, a rotor having a rotor winding wound on a rotor core fixedly fitted to a motor shaft; an insulating core being disposed on the surface of the rotor core; and the rotor winding being wound on the rotor core via the insulating core, in which the insulating core consists of an insulating end-face portion covering the end face of the rotor core and an insulating rib covering the side of the rotor core; both being integrally formed; the insulating rib is formed in such a fashion as to have a thickness smaller than the insulating end-face portion and a predetermined length, and disposed in such a manner as to cover the rotor core on which the rotor winding is wound.

A miniature motor comprising a stator having a permanent magnet field fitted to the inside of a motor case, a rotor having a rotor winding and rotatably supported in such a manner as to face the stator, a commutator provided at an end of the rotor, and a cooling fan, in which a plurality of lugs are provided in a projected state on an end face of a core constituting a rotor end portion, a plurality of holes corresponding to the lugs are provided on the cooling fan having a plurality of vanes, and the cooling fan is fixedly fitted to the core and then secured in place by plastic deforming of the lugs.

A motor having a housing comprising a case and a case cover, and bearings for supporting a motor rotating shaft fitted to the case and the case cover, respectively. The bearings are secured to the case and include a large diameter portion at one axial end having a diameter larger than the diameter of a bearing mounting hole in the case. The bearings also include a small diameter portion, provided at the other end thereof, which is extended continuously from the large diameter portion via a shoulder having such a diameter as to be fitted into the bearing mounting hole in the case. A recess is provided on the end face of the small diameter portion so as to permit a substantial increase the distance l between the bearings.
