A slide guide apparatus of a press machine, which guides reciprocating motion of a slide of the press machine by a sliding surface provided between a guide member and the slide, wherein a slide member that is rotatable about a predetermined rotation center axis and a slide member holder that rotatably holds the slide member and is rotatable about a rotation center axis transverse to the predetermined rotation center axis are provided between the guide member and the slide, and a flat portion of the slide member is adapted to function as the sliding surface.

A clutch-brake system in which at least one of clutch and brake devices has the following structure. A friction plate is mounted on a drive shaft to be synchronously rotatable on the drive shaft, but not to be movable in an axis direction of the drive shaft. First and second discs are provided on the opposite sides of the friction plate in the axis direction of the drive shaft, and movable in the axis direction. The first and second discs are synchronously moved in the opposite directions along the axis of the drive shaft, enabling to selectively switch between an operation state and a non-operation state.

Clutch-brake system and press machine

A suspension mechanism is formed as a liquid-tight structure by fitting the bottom end of a female screw member using a liquid-tight sealing member provided between a slider and a retainer and by covering the retainer with the liquid-tight sealing member. A highly-pressurized liquid is initially supplied to each clearance formed between any components such as liquid-tight sealing member, female screw member, male screw member and retainer through a liquid supply passage formed through the liquid-tight sealing member. The highly-pressurized liquid is supplied by an amount flows out through the screwing portions between the male and female screw members to maintain the pressure of liquid within the liquid-tight structure in a predetermined range.

A device for adjusting eccentric value at an eccentric portion of crank shaft in press machine having: a main portion at the crank shaft rotatably supported by a frame; an eccentric portion having an axis eccentric from that of the main portion and adapted to be coupled into a connecting member of the press machine, the main portion and the eccentric portion being capable of leaving from each other along the axis of the crank shaft; connecting means provided at a connecting portion where the main portion and the eccentric portion contact with each other for connecting the main portion with the eccentric portion so that eccentric value of the eccentric portion from the main portion can be altered; and drive means for moving the connecting means.

Device for adjusting eccentric value of the eccentric portion of crank

A press machine slide stroke adjusting apparatus comprises an eccentric sleeve connected to a slide and fitted over a circular eccentric portion of a crank shaft, first teeth provided on the eccentric sleeve and concentric to the circular eccentric portion, a main gear disposed on the crank shaft in coaxial relationship therewith, and second teeth meshing with the first teeth and provided on main gear coaxially with the crank shaft. The crank shaft is disconnected and connected from and to the main gear by coupling. A hydraulic actuator disengages the crank shaft from the main gear. The rotation of the crank shaft disconnected from the main gear is prevented by engagement of a pin and an engaging hole in an engaging block. Under such conditions, the eccentric sleeve is turned relative to the circular eccentric portion to adjust a vertical stroke of the slide.

Apparatus for adjusting a slide stroke of a press machine

A crankshaft mechanism for use with a press having a slide member which comprises an eccentric crankshaft having first and second cylindrical portions. The first portion is rotatable within a housing about a longitudinal axis and the second portion, of greater diameter than the first portion, has a center which is displaced radially from the longitudinal axis. An eccentric sheave is rotatably mounted on the outer circumference of the second portion of the crankshaft, and a connecting member is rotatably mounted on the outer circumference of the sheave. The second portion of the crankshaft, sheave and connecting member are provided with first, second and third radial bores respectively which are in alignment when the crankshaft is at its bottom dead center position. A locking pin slides within the radial bores and is displaceable by an actuator to a first position in which the crankshaft is connected to the sheave and a second position in which the sheave is connected to the connecting member. In the first position, the connecting member is free for movement with respect to the sheave and in the second position the sheave is free for movement with respect to the crankshaft. In addition, an auxiliary stop position correcting device is provided for stopping the slide member at a predetermined position.

Crankshaft mechanism having a variable stroke and a press employing said

A frame for a press, including a bed having four corners, upstanding members formed integrally with the bed at its four corners, and bow resisting elements disposed between the bed and the upstanding members so as to resist bowing of the upstanding members under a vertical load on the bed. In one embodiment the bow resisting elements include rib members connected to the bed and extending inside the upstanding members. In another embodiment the bow resisting elements include wedge members wedged between a bolster on the bed and the upstanding members.
