A display device may include a substrate; a plurality of signal lines on the substrate; a plurality of scan lines on the substrate, the scan lines crossing the signal lines; and a plurality of thin film transistors at crossing positions of the scan lines and the signal lines. The scan lines include some first scan lines and some second scan lines. Each of the second scan lines has an end connected to a load element.

According to one embodiment, a display device includes a first electrode, a second electrode, a first wiring electrically connected to the first electrode, a second wiring electrically connected to the second electrode, and a controller electrically connected to the first wiring and the second wiring, wherein the first electrode and the second electrode are located in a display area, the first electrode is connected to the first wiring in a position away from the controller than the second electrode, the second electrode is connected to the second wiring in a position closer to the controller than the first electrode, and a number of the first wiring being greater than a number of the second wiring.

Display device having scan lines of different lengths

According to one embodiment, a display device includes a first common electrode, a second common electrode separated from the first common electrode in a first direction and a first metal wiring extending in the first direction and overlapping the first common electrode and the second common electrode. The first metal wiring is located between the first common electrode and the second common electrode, and the first metal wiring includes a first end portion overlapping one of the first common electrode and the second common electrode.

According to one embodiment, a liquid crystal display device includes a first scanning line, a third scanning line, a second scanning line, a first linear electrode, a second linear electrode and a third linear electrode. The first linear electrode is located between the first scanning line and the second scanning line, and extends in a third direction. The second linear electrode is located between the first scanning line and the second scanning line, and extends in a fourth direction. The third linear electrode is located between the second scanning line and the third scanning line, and comprises a portion extending in the fourth direction. The second linear electrode is electrically connected to the third linear electrode.

Liquid crystal display device

A liquid crystal display device related to one embodiment includes a gate line arranged along a first direction, a first pixel including a first switching element connected to the gate line, and a first pixel electrode connected to the first switching element via a first contact hole arranged in an insulation layer, a second pixel including a second switching element connected to the gate line, and a second pixel electrode connected to the second switching element via a second contact hole arranged in the insulation layer, a first spacer arranged in the fixed pixel, and a second spacer arranged in the second pixel, wherein the first spacer and the second spacer are arranged substantially on the same straight line in the first direction, and the first contact hole and the second contact hole are alternately arranged sandwiching a straight line connecting the first spacer and the second spacer.

According to one embodiment, a display device includes a first scanning line, a signal line, a second pixel electrode, a first pixel electrode, a second thin-film transistor, a first line and a second line. The first line is connected to the second pixel electrode, and extends through a region facing the first pixel electrode to the first scanning line side. The first line and a second semiconductor layer of the second thin-film transistor are provided on a first insulating film and are formed of a same material. The second line connects the first line and a fourth electrode of the second thin-film transistor.

According to one embodiment, there is a third column of third color (Blue) pixels and fourth (White) color pixels arranged alternately. The first set of a first (Red), a second (Green) and a third (Blue) color pixels along the first direction, and the second set of a first (Red), a second (Green) and a fourth (White) color pixels along the first direction are each defined as a composite color unit pixel. In the composite color unit pixels located at the first or second one along the first direction from composite color unit pixels to which color pixels of the third columns belongs, a connection pattern is designed that the pixels of the third columns are connected to the odd-numbered gate lines and the even-numbered gate lines, alternately, along the first direction.
