A sunshade stopper is provided at a housing connecting a pair of guide rails that slidably supports a sunshade on a ceiling of a vehicle interior. The sunshade stopper includes a corresponding portion arranged at a position corresponding to an end portion of the sunshade during the sunshade is at the closed position, at least one contact portion provided on the corresponding portion that makes contact with at least a portion of the end portion of the sunshade during the sunshade is at the closed position, the contact portion formed with a form fitting the end portion of the sunshade that makes contact with the contact portion, and an attaching portion configured to be fixed to a vehicle, provided at a position in a direction opposite to where the ceiling is provided relative to the corresponding portion and extending in a direction in which the sunshade opens.

A roof apparatus for a vehicle includes a guide member sliding along a guide rail, a support member supporting a movable panel, a drive member driving the movable panel and the guide member, a first garnish supported by the guide rail and covering a clearance between the support member and the guide rail from an interior space of the vehicle under tilt-up and opening operations of the movable panel, a second garnish supported by the movable panel and covering the support member from the interior space, the second garnish covering the guide member under a fully closed state and the tilt-up operation of the movable panel; and a third garnish connected to the guide member or the support member and covering an opening portion between the first and second garnishes from the interior space under the tilt-up and opening operations and the fully closed state of the movable panel.

Roof apparatus for vehicle

A sunroof device comprises a movable panel being able to open and close an opening section provided on a roof of a vehicle, and a deflector. The deflector has a body section arranged at a front end portion of the opening section, arranged to be able to spread out over a surface of the roof in correspondence to the position of the movable panel or to retract under the surface, and extending in the width direction of the vehicle; and support sections associated with both ends of the body section in the width direction and pivotably supporting the body section relative to the roof. The deflector is further provided with a plurality of protruding portions at an upper portion of the body section and at a part in the width direction of the body section which part corresponds to the position of a low strength place on the roof.

A vehicle roof device includes a guide rail provided along a side edge of an opening portion formed at a vehicle roof, a frame provided at a rear portion of the opening portion so as to extend in a vehicle width direction, and the frame comprised layers of plural plates and fixed to the guide rail in a manner where one of the plates positioned at the top of the layers is fastened to the guide rail by caulking.

Sliding roof device

The invention improves a connection portion between a guide rail and a front rail in a sliding roof apparatus and make a mounting operation easy. In the sliding roof apparatus, a gutter is supported to a protruding portion of the guide rail, a side end portion of the front rail is overlapped with a front portion of the gutter from the above, an opening thereof is opposed to a bottom wall of the gutter, and a bracket of the side end portion is fixed to the protruding portion of the guide rail.
