An electronic key system includes a mobile device and a control device. Main identification information identifying the control device is registered in the control device as registrant identification information. When the mobile device receives a response request including the registrant identification information and response timing, the mobile device compares the registrant identification information and the response timing which included in the response request with registrant identification information and response timing registered in the mobile device. When a result of the comparing is a match, the mobile device transmits the mobile device code to the control device. The control device includes a registration unit that newly generates the main identification information with different content each time a registration command is inputted, and registers the newly generated main identification information in a storage device of the control device as registrant identification information.

Electronic key system and information registration system

An on-board apparatus control system comprising a portable device and a vehicle-mounted device is provided. The vehicle-mounted device controls an on-board apparatus by determining whether or not the portable device exists in an authorized area. The vehicle-mounted device causes separate transmission antennas to transmit a request signal and a determination signal, respectively. Responding to the request signal, the portable device transmits a response signal that includes information on a received strength of the determination signal. When the received signal strength of the determination signal is greater than a specified value, the vehicle-mounted device controls the on-board apparatus on assumption that the portable device exists in an unauthorized area even when the response signal is received.

On-board apparatus control system

A portable equipment detecting system includes an antenna having a first element of which a longitudinal direction is defined as a running direction of the vehicle, a second element of which longitudinal direction is defined as a direction perpendicular to the running direction of the vehicle and the vertical direction of the vehicle, and a bypass wiring of which one end is connected to a connection point between the first and second elements; and detecting circuit adapted to switch between three power-supplied states of the antenna including a first supplied state, a second supplied state and a third supplied state, and to detect a location of the portable equipment based on an acknowledge signal from the portable equipment when the power-supplied state is switched.
