A server apparatus is provided for collecting log information from a plurality of servers that execute a series of processes in response to a first request from a client apparatus. The server apparatus receives, from a first server that is included in the plurality of servers and has executed a first process of the series of processes, a second request for executing a second process of the series of processes, where the first request includes first log information that is outputted from the first server when the first process is executed by the first server. The server apparatus executes the second process while outputting second log information indicating an execution history of the second process, and controls writing of the first and second log information into a predetermined storage area provided in association with the client apparatus.

Apparatus and method for collecting log information from a plurality of servers

A computing system includes: a plurality of computing machines and a load balancer configured to allocate computing processing to the plurality of computing machines. In the computing system, the plurality of computing machines executes the computing processing, each of the plurality of computing machines includes an execution instruction unit that instructs to execute one of garbage collection (GC) and restart of the computing machine. The computing machine, in an active state in which the computing processing is allowed to be executed, switches a state of another standby computing machine to an active state when the active computing machine is instructed to execute one of the GC and the restart of the computing machine, and starts one of the GC and the restart of the computing machine after the switching is completed.

Computing system and computing system management method

A contents delivery system includes a client machine that executes a browser capable of requesting contents and a server machine that has a HDD for storing contents and executes WWW server capable of transmitting the contents requested by the client machine to the client machine. The server machine includes an ID issuance module for issuing a delivery confirmation ID that is uniquely related to the contents every time the contents are requested by the client machine, and a plug-in data creation part for creating plug-in data including the delivery conformation ID, client information and server information. The server machine further includes a application execution part for transmitting the plug-in data including the delivery confirmation ID related to the contents to the client machine through the WWW server, and a delivery confirmation receiving part for receiving delivery confirmation data containing the delivery confirmation ID and the client information which is sent from the client machine. The client machine executes a plug-in software creating the delivery confirmation data based upon the plug-in data and transmitting the delivery confirmation data to the delivery confirmation receiving part of the server machine in accordance with the server information contained in the plug-in data.
