An upper feed device includes a main body portion configured to be mounted to a presser bar of a sewing machine, and a presser foot configured to be detachably mounted to the main body portion. The main body portion has an upper feed dog, a first mounting portion, and a second mounting portion. The first mounting portion has a first groove opening downward, and the second mounting portion has a second groove opening downward. The presser foot has a presser plate, a first opposing portion, a second opposing portion, a first pin, a first protruding portion, a second pin, and a second protruding portion. An opening is formed in the presser plate. The first pin is configured to rotatably fit into the first groove. The second pin is configured to rotatably fit into the second groove.

Upper feed device

A sewing machine includes a thread cutter. The thread cutter includes a cutter blade having a blade edge configured to cut a thread, and a movable member. The movable member includes a guide having a guide surface adjacent to the cutter blade. The guide is configured to receive force from the thread at the guide surface during the course of cutting the thread with the cutter blade and to move in a moving direction which is a longitudinal direction of the blade edge.

Sewing machine

An image recording apparatus includes: a first housing comprising a recording portion and a first control device; a second housing comprising a second control device and supported by the first housing to be rotationally movable between a close position and a distant position by rotationally moving about a first axis extending in a first direction; a first cable and a second cable electrically connecting the first control device to the second control device; and a holder having a supported portion and holding the first cable and the second cable. In the first housing, at least a part of the holder extends in a second direction and the holder holds the first cable and the second cable such that the first cable and the second cable extend in the second direction and are respectively disposed at positions different from each other in the first direction and in a third direction.

Image recording apparatus

Inkjet recording apparatus

The opening and closing apparatus includes a lower unit case, an upper unit case, a hinge, a lower guide member, an upper guide member and an opening/closing linking unit. The upper unit case is configured to open and close with respect to the lower unit case. The lower guide member is disposed in the lower unit case, and the upper guide member is disposed in the upper unit case. The opening/closing linking unit includes a first rotating member, a second rotating member and a linking portion. As the upper unit case is closed, the opening/closing linking unit moves from the base end side toward the distal end side along the upper guide member and the lower guide member.

Opening and closing apparatus

There is provided an opening/closing device for an upper unit case, including a pair of guide members formed of lower and upper guide members provided on lower and upper unit cases respectively, at least one of the lower and upper guide member being configured to be swingable in an up and down direction; a movable body which is connected movably to the lower and upper guide members and which has a rotary body installed in the movable body while being fitted rollably with respect to the lower and lower guide members; and a regulating mechanism which regulates swinging amount in the up and down direction of the at least one guide member configured to be swingable in the up and down direction.

Opening/closing device for upper unit case, and image recording apparatus provided with the same

In a hole sewing machine of the type adapted to stitch a buttonhole or the like, an X-Y table member is operatively connected to a work support member upon which the material to be stitched is placed, motors are provided for driving the table along orthogonal X-Y axes and a further motor is provided for synchronously rotating the needle bar and looper stand of the sewing machine about the axis of the needle bar. A control device is provided for supply drive signals to the various motors in accordance with the predetermined buttonhole sewing program so that the buttonhole is stitched in accordance with the desired pattern by merely selecting a specific buttonhole sewing program.

Hole sewing machine

A dust collector for a sewing machine includes a dust collector box secured to a motor housing having a blower motor and a clutch motor disposed in axial alignment with each other. Suction hoses lead from the vicinity of the sewing machine to an inlet for the box and the outlet of the box is provided with a filter whereby a clean stream of air exiting from said box will pass over the motors to cool the same. The treadle operated control lever for the clutch for energizing the sewing machine is provided with a switch adapted to be closed upon engagement of the clutch and opened upon disengagement of the clutch. The switch is connected in series with a selective control switch for the blower motor whereby when the switch is in a first position the blower motor will be energized simultaneously with the engagement of the clutch and deenergized simultaneously with the disengagement of the clutch. When the switch is in a second or third position, the blower motor may be turned off or on independently of the clutch engagement.

Sewing machine dust collector

A waste collector for a sewing machine uses first and second different collection boxes, the second of which has a larger diameter suction hose than the first. The box having the larger diameter suction hose is coupled to the blower motor only through the first box via an airflow path which is more restricted than that of the larger suction hose.
