An electronic device includes a color module and a control module. The color module includes a first sub-pixel and a second sub-pixel. The first sub-pixel and the second sub-pixel are adjacent and have different colors. The control module is configured to convert an input data to an output data. The input data includes a first grayscale value of a first color. The output data includes the first grayscale value of the first color and a second grayscale value of a second color, and the first color and the second color are different. The first grayscale value of the output data is provided to the first sub-pixel, and the second grayscale value of the output data is provided to the second sub-pixel.

Electronic device

A display device includes first color filter, a second color filter, a third color filter, a first transparent region, a second transparent region, a third transparent region and a fourth transparent region. The second color filter has a first edge extending along a first direction and a second edge extending along a second direction. The first color filter is disposed adjacent to the first edge, and the third color filter is disposed adjacent to the second edge. The first color filter, the second color filter and third color filter are surrounding by the first transparent region, the second transparent region, the third transparent region and the fourth transparent region. Areas of the first transparent region, the second transparent region, the third transparent region and the fourth transparent region are greater than areas of the first color filter, the second color filter and the third color filter.

The another transparent region is disposed adjacent to the transparent region. The transparent region and the another transparent region are arranged along the first direction. The first sub-pixel region is disposed adjacent to the transparent region and disposed between the transparent region and the another transparent region. In a top view, an area of the transparent region is greater than an area of the first sub-pixel region.

The display panel includes a source line, a common voltage line, a gate line, and a pixel circuit. The pixel circuit includes a first capacitor, a first transistor, a sample circuit, and a memory circuit. The first capacitor is coupled to the common voltage line. The first transistor is coupled to the source line and the first capacitor. The sample circuit includes a second transistor, and the second transistor is coupled to the source line and the first capacitor. The memory circuit is coupled to the first transistor, the sample circuit, and the gate line.

A display including a pixel cell is provided. When the liquid crystal display is displaying a static image, the pixel cell is refreshed through a first period, a second period, and a third period in sequence. In the first period, the pixel cell is charged by a target voltage. In the second period, the pixel cell is charged by a post voltage. In the third period, the pixel cell is charged by a base voltage until next of the first period. The post voltage is between the target voltage and the base voltage. In addition, a driving method for a display is also provided.
