An analysis device includes a controller configured to count a pulse derived from a particles as a plural particles when a light reception level signal includes the pulse having a first extreme value point, a second extreme value point, and a third extreme value point, and the pulse fulfils a condition in which the third extreme value point is present between the first extreme value point and the second extreme value point in a pulse width direction of the pulse, the third extreme value point is present between the first extreme value point and a threshold in a pulse amplitude direction, the first extreme value point and the second extreme value point are each an extreme value point of a waveform projecting in a common direction, and the third extreme value point is an extreme value point of a waveform in a direction opposite to the common direction.

Optical device and method for detection target substance analysis

A nanoparticle measurement device includes a timing signal generation unit, a low-frequency component extraction unit, a low-frequency component calculation unit, a threshold correction unit, and a measurement unit. The timing signal generation unit generates timing signals. The low-frequency component extraction unit extracts low-frequency components according to the timing signals. The low-frequency component calculation unit calculates an interpolated low-frequency component in accordance with the low-frequency components. The threshold correction unit sets a corrected threshold in accordance with the interpolated low-frequency component. The measurement unit extracts and counts nanoparticle pulse signals from a light reception signal according to the timing signals and the corrected threshold.

Nanoparticle measurement device, analysis device, and analysis method

An analysis device includes an optical disc drive, a gate information processing unit, a detection circuit, and a gate shift processing unit. The optical disc drive rotates a specimen analysis disc and detects a measurement radial position for an optical pickup. The detection circuit generates gate signals shifted by a gate shift amount in each measurement radial position in a rotating direction of the specimen analysis disc, and generates count values of the respective gate signals. The gate shift processing unit divides a gate signal-corresponding region of the corresponding gate signal by a unit gate shift amount in the rotating direction of the specimen analysis disc to define a plurality of divided regions and sets count values of the divided regions based on the count values of the gate signals.

Analysis device and analysis method

An optical disc device capable of detecting a reference position of an optical disc in a rotating direction includes an optical disc rotation drive unit, an optical sensor, and a control circuit. The optical disc rotation drive unit rotates the optical disc provided with a rotation reference mark. The rotation reference mark is formed into a shape having a width changing in the radial direction of the optical disc. The optical sensor detects the rotation reference mark. The control circuit controls the optical disc rotation drive unit and the optical sensor, extracts a detection signal of the rotation reference mark as a pulse waveform from an output signal of the optical sensor with the optical disc being rotated, and specifies a rotation reference position of the optical disc in accordance with the pulse waveform.

A female connector is connected to a male connector having a cylindrical hood portion open in the longitudinal direction and housing a plurality of terminals. The male connector has a holding portion holding a plurality of terminals arranged inside the hood portion when the female connector is connected to the male connector, a seal interposed between the outer surface of the holding portion and the inner surface of the hood portion, and a slider arranged along the outer surface of the hood portion. The slider is able to slide in the transverse direction and the sliding action causes the hood portion to be engaged so that force is applied to the hood portion in the direction in which the male connector connects to the female connector. A pressing portion is formed on the slider to press the hood portion into the holding portion.

Connector and connector assembly

An analysis device includes a turntable, an optical pickup, and a controller. The turntable holds a disc for specimen analysis having a reaction region on which fine particles binding to substances to be detected are captured per track. The optical pickup emits laser light to the reaction region, receives a reflected light from the reaction region, and generates a reception level signal of the light. The controller sequentially generates a plurality of measurement gate signals per track for counting the number of the fine particles captured on the reaction region, counts the number of the fine particles per measurement gate signal from the reception level signal, compares measurement results obtained in positions having a symmetric relation with each other in the reaction region, and defines a measurement-result-correction target region for correcting the number of the fine particles.

The controller performs shift control of the transmission such that an actual pressure of a primary pressure becomes an indicating pressure. The controller includes a phase advance compensator which performs advance compensation of the indicating pressure, and a setting unit which sets an indicating pressure on which the advance compensation is performed by the phase advance compensator as the indicating pressure, in accordance with at least one of a rotation speed of a primary pulley, an input torque to a secondary pulley, a speed ratio, or a changing rate.

A card edge connector is provided which includes a housing mated with a card having connecting electrodes. The housing includes a first housing having first terminals mounted to contact the connecting electrodes and a second housing having second terminals connected to a core wire in a conductive wire. The first terminals and the second terminals contact each other under a predetermined amount of contact pressure when the first housing and the second housing are connected.

An image pickup apparatus has a camera-shake correction mechanism which performs camera-shake correction by moving an image pickup element with respect to a lens unit. The image pickup apparatus includes a z-plate provided slidably in a z-direction, an actuator for moving the plate in the z-direction, a z-shaft which guides the movement of the z-plate, and a rotating ball sandwiched between a base plate and the z-plate in a rotatable state. In a y-z plan view, an opening portion is provided between the z-shaft and the rotating ball, and the rotating ball is arranged outside the opening portion between one end and the other end of the opening portion in the z-direction.

A gas diffusion electrode material of the present invention includes: a porous body () formed of continuous and discontinuous polytetrafluoroethylene microfibers () and having three-dimensionally continuous micropores (); and a conductive material () supported on the porous body (). Moreover, a density of the polytetrafluoroethylene microfiber () is lower in a surface region (A) of a cross section of the porous body () than in an intermediate region (B) of the cross section. In accordance with the present invention, the polytetrafluoroethylene having the predetermined three-dimensional structure is used, and so on. Therefore, it is possible to provide a gas diffusion electrode material excellent in power generation characteristics and durability.

A linear motion device includes a guide shaft. A to-be-moved member is supported on the guide shaft, and is linearly movable along the guide shaft. A lead screw extends parallel to the guide shaft. A clamper meshes with the lead screw. The clamper moves as the lead screw rotates. An intermediate member is provided between the to-be-moved member and the clamper. An urging member operates for urging the to-be-moved member toward the clamper and enabling the intermediate member to be seated between the to-be-moved member and the clamper in a manner such that an axis of the intermediate member is nonparallel to the guide shaft.

A large-screen image display apparatus includes a stand for supporting the display module, which has a leg portion. The leg portion of the stand is inserted into the main frame. The leg portion and the main frame are fastened together at a first screw hole formed through the leg portion. In addition, the leg portion and a fixing part of the outer frame are fastened together at a second screw hole formed through the leg portion. The first screw hole and the second screw hole are formed on different faces of the leg portion and at different heights. Lens barrier device

A gas diffusion electrode includes: an electrode catalyst layer; microporous layers arranged on the electrode catalyst layer and including at least second and first microporous layers, wherein the second microporous layer disposed on the electrode catalyst layer side is composed to have higher water repellency than the first microporous layer; and an oxidant gas diffusion substrate disposed on the microporous layers and formed of carbon fiber. According to the gas diffusion electrode of the present invention, drainability of generated water from the electrode catalyst layer to the gas diffusion layer and moisture retention and gas diffusibility of the electrode catalyst layer can be enhanced. Moreover, according to a solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell of the present invention, stable power generation characteristics can be obtained even under an operating condition with a wide humidity range and current density range.
