There is provided a telepresence system that includes a network that connects a plurality of bases, and a plurality of telepresence apparatuses that transmit and receive video images and sound via the network, and share the video images and the audio between the respective bases. Further, in each of the telepresence apparatuses, a presentation device that performs presentation for prompting communication by users at different bases is disposed at the center of a shared communication space in which the users communicate with each other.

Telepresence system

A ventilation fan includes a body unit, which has a fan disposed in a body case and a fan controller operable to control an air volume of the fan. The ventilation fan also includes a sensor module having an indoor environment detecting sensor and a module controller operable to control a detecting operation of the indoor environment detecting sensor. The body unit has a module mount on which the sensor module is mounted and another sensor module can be mounted in place of the sensor module. The module mount is connected to the fan controller. The module controller outputs detection information obtained based on a detection result of the indoor environment detecting sensor to the fan controller, which in turn controls the air volume of the fan based on the detection information inputted thereto.

Ventilation fan and ventilation system

A first ventilation apparatus of ventilation apparatuses which form a ventilation system includes: a first information transmission part (); a first information reception part (); and a first control part (). The first control part () includes: a first total ventilation air volume determination part (); a first-ventilation-apparatus first air volume decision part (); and a first air volume detection part ().

Ventilation apparatus

Between the lower stage in respective phases of inverter circuit and the negative potential side, shunt resistors are inserted for respective phases. The potential differences across shunt resistors occurring by current flowing through shunt resistors are amplified by amplifier unit. From the output of amplifier unit, current detecting unit detects current of each phase flowing through motor formed by a sensorless brushless DC motor. Rotation detecting unit calculates the rotation speed and position of motor based on the current detected by current detecting unit. This structure makes it possible to directly detect solely the current flowing through the windings of motor. Therefore, it becomes possible to accurately detect the current of the motor windings, and the ventilation device can maintain the ventilation air volume from a small air volume to a large air volume always at a constant value.

Ventilation device

A switch to be used mainly for controlling a variety of electronic devices in automobiles, and a method of manufacturing the same switch are disclosed for providing a switch free from positional deviation in its display section and easy to manufacture. Operating units having no display sections are mounted to a housing, then the shapes of each one of the operating units are recognized by a control circuit. An upper jig and a lower jig are moved for a laser beam device to remove a non-translucent section and expose parts of a translucent section, thereby forming the display sections. This structure allows eliminating positional deviation of the display sections and also requiring no visual checks done for confirming the display sections in manufacturing.
