The disclosure provides a vehicle side structure. The vehicle side structure is for being mounted near a door, and includes: an electric motor disposed inside the door to drive a door glass up and down; a fitting member, fitting the door and a vehicle body; and a connecting member, connecting the fitting member and the electric motor.

Vehicle side structure

A door structure includes an outer panel and an inner panel. The inner panel is formed from a panel inner member located on an inner side of a vehicle interior and a panel outer member located on an outer side of the vehicle interior. A sealing member which comes into contact with an A pillar serving as a body side member and isolates the inner side of the vehicle interior from the outer side of the vehicle interior is attached to the panel inner member at an overlap portion serving as a junction between the panel outer member and the panel inner member.

Door structure

A door structure includes a safety device arranged on a surface of the door structure facing a pillar of a vehicle body, wherein the safety device includes: a case member having an opening which opens to the pillar; a slide pin configured to slide from an initial position to a protruded position, in a direction from the case member toward the pillar; and a stopper configured to fix the slide pin in the protruded position when the slide pin has slid to the protruded position.

A door structure includes an outer panel and an inner panel. A panel outer member of the inner panel includes a front longitudinal side portion extending in an upper-lower direction at a front end portion of the panel outer member, a rear longitudinal side portion extending in the upper-lower direction at a rear end portion of the panel outer member, a lower side portion that joins a lower end portion of the front longitudinal side portion to a lower end portion of the rear longitudinal side portion, connecting members that connect the front longitudinal side portion to the rear longitudinal side portion in a front-rear direction, and reinforcement members provided separately from the connecting members and joined to the connecting members in such a way as to extend in the front-rear direction along the connecting members and to form closed cross-sections in spaces with the connecting members.

A sliding door apparatus for a vehicle includes a sliding door, a recessed part formed on a side of a vehicle body of the vehicle and extending in a front-and-rear direction of the vehicle body, and a guide rail attached to the recessed part for guiding the sliding door. The guide rail extends in the front-and-rear direction of the vehicle body. The apparatus includes a cover supporting member attached directly to the side of the vehicle body and extending continuously along the rail within the recessed part, and a cover covering the guide rail and the cover supporting member. The apparatus includes first and second positioning parts formed integrally with the cover supporting member for positioning the cover relative to the cover supporting member.

Sliding door apparatus for vehicle

An opening/closing apparatus including a trapping detection structure which reliably implements detection of trapping of foreign objects, even at a structure at which an outer peripheral edge of a moving body or an inner peripheral edge of an opening includes corner portions with small radii of curvature. A pressure sensor which detects external forces from directions intersecting a length direction thereof is provided at an outer periphery portion of a back door. However, at a corner portion, at a lower end portion of a door side portion or the like, the pressure sensor is provided with a large curvature such that the pressure sensor keeps distant from the corner portion. In place thereof, another pressure sensor, with a facing pair of electrode sheets, is provided along the corner portion. When one or more of these pressure sensors detects an external force, the back door is moved for opening.

Opening and closing apparatus

A rear gate is constructed to be opened and closed by a driving unit installed on a vehicle body side, and the driving unit is constructed to have a motor which can rotate both in normal and reverse directions, a gearbox to which a pinion is pivotally attached for reducing the rotating speed of the motor for output, and a rack adapted to reciprocate in directions normal to an axial direction of a hinge shaft by virtue of the rotation of the pinion and connected to the rear gate at one end thereof. An electromagnetic clutch for connecting and disconnecting a power transmission path between an output shaft of the motor and the pinion is provided in the interior of the gearbox, so that the rack is disposed above or below the gearbox at a position directly above or below the clutch.

Opening and closing apparatus for rear gate of vehicle

A vehicle comprises a vehicle body, an electric folding roof housed in the vehicle body in a folded state, an electric motor operate to unfold the folded electric folding roof, and a rigid roof designed to be attached to the vehicle body when the electric folding roof is folded and housed in the vehicle body. The vehicle also includes an inhibiting device for inhibiting operation of the electric motor upon detection of the attachment of the rigid roof to the vehicle body. With this arrangement, it becomes possible to prevent unfolding of the folded electric folding roof when the rigid roof is attached to the vehicle body. This leads to the further advantage that failure of the motor can be prevented.
