A voice synthesis method includes: supplying a first trained model with control data including phonetic identifier data to generate a series of frequency spectra of harmonic components; supplying a second trained model with the control data to generate a waveform signal representative of non-harmonic components; and generating a voice signal including the harmonic components and the non-harmonic components based on the series of frequency spectra of the harmonic components generated by the first trained model and the waveform signal representative of the non-harmonic components generated by the second trained model.

Voice synthesis method, voice synthesis apparatus, and recording medium

A string signal generator generates a string signal representing vibration of a string corresponding to a specified pitch in response to a note-on instruction such that the string signal rises and then attenuates in response to a note-off instruction. The string signal generator distributes the generated string signal to a plurality of loop circuits of a string resonance simulator. The plurality of the loop circuits correspond to a plurality of pitches and circulate resonant signals of the corresponding pitches, each loop circuit having a delay element for delaying the resonant signal by a time depending on the corresponding pitch, and an attenuation element for variably attenuating the resonant signal according to an attenuation coefficient. A controller respectively provides attenuation coefficients to the attenuation elements in the plurality of the loop circuits based on the note-on instruction, the note-off instruction, a damper-pedal-on instruction, and a damper-pedal-off instruction.

Musical sound signal generation apparatus

In an audio network system constructed from a main node and a plurality of satellite nodes each having a plurality of ports, the main node generates and transmits a main packet including audio signals of a plurality of channels. Each satellite node selects one of the plurality of ports in turn, and confirms whether the main packet arrives at the selected port every predetermined period or not. When the main packet arrives at the selected port every predetermined period, the main packet is received via the port by continuing selection of the port. In the case where reception of the main packet is lost, one is selected from the plurality of ports in turn, the operation to confirm arrival of the main packet is restarted, and another port at which the main packet arrives at the present stage is automatically found.

Audio network system and method of detecting topology in audio signal transmitting system

Control node includes: current memories provided in corresponding relation to a plurality of equipments to store, for each of the equipments, a first current data set for remote-controlling an operational condition of the equipment and a second current data set for remote-controlling a logical connection between the equipment and another equipment; and library memories provided in corresponding relation to the equipments to store, for each of the equipments, a plurality of first data sets each for remote-controlling the operational condition of the equipment and a plurality of second data sets each for remote-controlling the logical connection between the equipment and another equipment. In response to a scene readout instruction, first and second data sets, corresponding to the scene designated by the instruction, are read out from the library memories and stored into the current memories as first and second current data sets, and a readout command for the designated scene is transmitted, via a network, to each of the equipments.

A plurality of partial networks can work independently from each other, and each partial network connects together several nodes including a connection node for transmission of audio signals. A connection network connects respective connection nodes of the respective partial networks so as to connect the plurality of the partial networks with each other through the connection nodes. The connection node of the partial network operates when the audio signal is transmitted from the partial network to the connection network, for forwarding the audio signal from a transmission channel used for carrying the audio signal in the partial network to another transmission channel to be used for carrying the audio signal in the connection network, and operates when the audio signal is transmitted from the connection network to the partial network, for forwarding the audio signal from a transmission channel used for carrying the audio signal in the connection network to another transmission channel to be used for carrying the audio signal in the partial network.

To perform user management for creating an account of a user using an apparatus or software and setting authorization of a user in using the apparatus or software, a plurality of users have parent-child relationships with a highest-position, root user at the top. Each user as a parent is allowed to add a child user, and each parent user is allowed to set authorization of a user lower in hierarchical position than the child user. The parent-child relationships of the users are displayed on a display. Each of the users can give any settable user authorization equal to or lower than its own user authorization.

A sound source apparatus has operation blocks composed of softwares used to compute waveforms for generating a plurality of musical tones through a plurality of channels according to performance information. In the apparatus, a setting device sets an algorithm which determines a system composed of selective ones of the operation blocks systematically combined with each other to compute a waveform specific to one of the musical tones. A designating device responds to the performance information for designating one of the channels to be used for generating the musical tone. A generating device allocates the selective operation blocks to the one channel and systematically executes the allocated selective operation blocks according to the algorithm so as to compute the waveform to thereby generate the musical tone through the channel. The generating device responds to a variable sampling frequency for executing the operation blocks to successively compute samples of the waveform in synchronization to the variable sampling frequency so as to generate the musical tone, and sets the variable sampling frequency according to process of computation of the waveform by the operation blocks.

Sound source system based on computer software and method of generating acoustic waveform data

An audio signal processing apparatus has a plurality of nodes which include a node in operation and a node on standby for redundancy. Both the node in operation and the node on standby execute the same signal processing on input same audio signals in accordance with supplied same control signals, respectively. Only the node in operation is permitted to output the frame in which the processed audio signals are contained, and the node on standby is prohibited from outputting the frame to the audio bus. In response to a switch instruction, in a sampling cycle, the node in operation turns to be on standby and the node on standby turns to be in operation.

Audio signal processing apparatus

A method of generating a tone waveform using a CPU is provided which prevents or minimizes operational delays of other software processing that is executed concurrently with tone waveform generating processing on a multitask basis. The CPU collectively calculates 128 (one block of) tone waveform sample values each corresponding to a sampling clock pulse, and transmits the calculated tone waveform sample values to a reproduction section in response to a predetermined calculation triggering clock pulse generated every 128 samples. When sufficient processing capability of the CPU performing the multitask is available for the waveform sample calculation, tone waveform sample values for one or more following blocks are also calculated and stored in a sample buffer in advance. When the CPU is too busy with the other software processing to execute the waveform sample calculation, it is just sufficient that the previously stored tone waveform sample values be read out to be transmitted to the reproduction section. This prevents operational delays of the other software processing.

Tone waveform generating method and apparatus based on software

In a mixer system including: a plurality of mixer engines each provided with a programmable DSP; and a PC controlling operations of the respective mixer engines, the PC stores, as zone data, a plurality of configuration data each indicating a configuration of signal processing to be executed by one mixer engine or more out of the mixer engines under the control of the PC, accepts the selection of the zone data, and when the necessary mixer engines are in a controllable state, transfers data on a part of the aforesaid configuration which is to be assigned to each of the mixer engines, to the corresponding mixer engines. Then, when the selection of the configuration is accepted, each of the mixer engines to which the configuration is transferred is caused to execute the audio signal processing according to the selected configuration.

Audio signal processing system

In an automix system of network type, one of control equipment and audio equipment transmits time information data to the network, and the other of the control equipment and the audio equipment receives the time information data to thereby synchronize times with each other between the control equipment and the audio equipment. The audio equipment obtains time information when an operation device is manipulated based on the time information data received from the network and provides an operation event with that time information as a time stamp. The operation event provided with the time stamp is transmitted from the audio equipment to the control equipment via the network. This enables the control equipment to record the operation event with no time lag between the audio equipment and the control equipment.

Automix system

In an access controller provided for a musical sound signal generating system, a signal generating section operates when a readout of wave data of one block stored in a working memory is completed in a sound channel, for supplying a next waveform request signal to a CPU, which requests a next block of the wave data for the sound channel. First and second buffer memories are connected between a recording medium and the working memory respectively through first and second buses which are independent from each other. A first transmitting section operates when receiving block specifying information from the CPU, which specifies a block to be read next from the recording medium, for transmitting the wave data of the specified block to either of the first or second buffer memory while reading the specified block of the wave data from the recording medium. A second transmitting section operates when the transmitting of the wave data to either of the first or second buffer memory is finished and during a period when the musical sound signal generation system is not accessing the working memory, for transmitting the wave data of the specified block to the working memory from either of the first or second buffer memory, to which the wave data of the specified block has been transmitted by the first transmitting section.
