A power control unit includes a power device, a heat dissipation member disposed to face the power device with an insulating resin member interposed therebetween, and a plurality of plate-shaped bus bars each of which has one end connected to the power device, in which a plurality of input bus bars connected to an input terminal of the power device are provided as the bus bar, and at least one of the plurality of input bus bars is erected so that a direction along a plate width is aligned with a direction along a normal line of a surface of the heat dissipation member facing the power device, and is disposed with respect to the heat dissipation member with the insulating resin member interposed therebetween.

Power control unit

The present motor control device includes an inverter, a converter, and a control device. The control device has a rotation speed calculation unit that calculates a rotation speed of a motor; an optimum voltage calculation unit that calculates an optimum input voltage; a minimum voltage calculation unit that calculates a minimum input voltage required to operate the motor at a motor operating point; and a target value setting unit that sets either one of the optimum input voltage and the minimum input voltage as a target input voltage. In a case in which the set target torque exceeds a predetermined value, the target value setting unit sets the minimum input voltage lower than the optimum input voltage as the target input voltage.

Motor control device

A power conversion device includes a cooling structure capable of cooling down, by a coolant that flows through a first flow channel formed by a first wall portion and a second wall portion facing with each other, a first electronic component and a second electronic component mounted on an external surface of the first wall portion. The first wall portion is formed in a stepwise shape, and includes a first mount portion on which the first electronic component is mounted, a second mount portion which has a different height from the first mount portion, and on which the second electronic component is mounted, and a first connection portion that is extended between the first mount portion and the second mount portion.

Coolant flow cooling structure for a power conversion device

A circuit unit of a drive unit includes a plate-shaped heat sink that extends in a direction perpendicular to an axis of rotation of a motor, and a lower case arranged on a lower side of the heat sink. In the drive unit, a fastening member, which is formed on the lower case, is fastened to a housing, and a height of a fastening surface, which is located on an upper end of the fastening member, is positioned within a height range that spans from a lower surface to an upper surface of the heat sink.

Drive unit

An electric current sensor of electric equipment includes a detection element, a reference voltage line to which a reference voltage signal is transmitted, an output signal line to which an output signal of the detection element is transmitted, and a ground line connected to a ground potential. The reference voltage line, the output signal line, and the ground line are bundled together by a cylindrical member which does not contain metal, and in this state, the reference voltage line, the output signal line, and the ground line are routed inside a casing containing a reactor, and connected to a control device.

Electric equipment

In an electric power device and a method of producing the electric power device, in an axial direction of a reactor, a distance between a detection element of a second electric current sensor and a central position of a winding part is shorter than a distance between a detection element of a first electric current sensor and a central position of a winding part. Further, a gap length of a core of the second electric current sensor is smaller than a gap length of a core of the first electric current sensor.

Electric power device and method of producing the electric power device

In a drive circuit unit of a vehicle, a first terminal is electrically connected to a drive circuit that performs power conversion, and configured to input or output electric power with respect to the exterior of the drive circuit unit via a first cable. A front protruding portion is formed by extending a portion of a front side surface of the drive circuit unit in a forward direction in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The first terminal is disposed on the front protruding portion in an upwardly facing manner, at a more rearward position than a front end of the front protruding portion.

Vehicle and drive circuit unit

A drive system includes a first energy storage, a second energy storage, a voltage transformer, a drive apparatus, a detector, and circuitry. The first energy storage outputs a first voltage. The second energy storage outputs a second voltage different from the first voltage. The voltage transformer transforms at least one of the first voltage and the second voltage. The drive apparatus is driven with power supplied from at least one of the first energy storage and the second energy storage. The detector detects a fault in at least one of the first energy storage and the second energy storage. The circuitry is configured to control the voltage transformer in a first control mode or in a second control mode.

Drive system, transporter, and control method performed by drive system

In a drive circuit unit, a seal member includes a first contact part that makes contact with respect to an inner surface of a case wall section which defines a through hole. In a state in which the seal member is arranged inside the through hole, a first distance in an insertion direction of the seal member from an outside end portion of the inner surface to the first contact part is longer than a second distance in the insertion direction between an outside surface of the seal member and a cover.

Drive circuit unit

In electric equipment, a switching substrate is provided along winding axes of winding parts. A part of the switching substrate is overlapped with a reactor, as viewed in a direction perpendicular to a virtual plane including the winding axes. Further, an electric current sensor is shifted from the reactor in a direction of winding axes, and a sensor substrate is provided in parallel to the virtual plane.

A power supply system includes a first energy storage, a second energy storage, a power transmission circuit, and circuitry. The circuitry acquires a request supply amount, a request output amount, and failure detection information. The circuitry controls the power transmission circuit in accordance with the at least one of the request supply amount and the request output amount such that a ratio of an amount of electric power supplied from or to the first energy storage and an amount of electric power supplied from or to the second energy storage is to be a first ratio in a normal operating. The circuitry controls the power transmission circuit in accordance with the at least one of the request supply amount and the request output amount such that the ratio is to be a second ratio which is different from the first ration in a partial failure state.

Power supply system, transportation device, and power transmission method

A drive apparatus includes a first power storage, a second power storage, an electric motor, a voltage booster, an electric device. The second power storage is superior to the first power storage in energy to weight density and is inferior to the first power storage in output to weight density. The electric motor is to be driven with power supplied from at least one of the first power storage and the second power storage. The voltage booster is to boost a voltage output from the first power storage. The voltage booster includes a switch to electrically connect or disconnect the first power storage to at least one of the electric motor and the second power storage. The electric device is provided between the first power storage and the voltage booster. The voltage output from the second power storage is higher than a guaranteed operating voltage of the electric device.

Drive apparatus and transporter

A drive system includes a first energy storage, a second energy storage, a driver, and a controller. The first energy storage is charged and discharged. A first amount of heat is generated by charging and discharging the first energy storage. The second energy storage is charged and discharged. The second amount of heat is generated by charging and discharging the second energy storage and is smaller than the first amount of heat. The driver generates driving power to move an electrically powered vehicle with electric power supplied from at least one of the first energy storage and the second energy storage. The controller controls temperature of the first energy storage and temperature of the second energy storage with a coolant flowing inside the electrically powered vehicle. The first energy storage is cooled by the coolant before the second energy storage is cooled by the coolant.

Drive system, transporter, electrical device, and control method for drive system

A motor is to be driven with power supplied from at least one of a first energy storage and a second energy storage. The booster is to boost a first voltage output from the first energy storage such that the first voltage and a second voltage output from the second energy storage satisfy a first condition, a second condition, and a third condition. In the first condition, the second voltage does not exceed a withstand voltage limit of the motor. In the second condition, the second voltage is lower than or equal to a maximum boosted value to which the booster boosts the first voltage with a maximum boosting ratio. In the third condition, the second voltage is higher than or equal to a minimum boosted value to which the booster boosts the first voltage with a minimum boosting ratio.

Drive device, energy storage control method for drive device, and transport apparatus

An inner side edge part of a PCU supporting frame is arranged at a rear-downward angle; a rear supporting bracket that connects a rear edge part of the supporting frame with a dashboard upper is arranged at a rear-upward angle; the frame main body and the PCU are pressed diagonally down-backward when a load input is received on the supporting frame from the vehicle front side; and with the rear supporting bracket being rotationally displaced by this pressing, the supporting frame and the PCU are displaced diagonally down-backward.
