A bill handling apparatus includes: a first loop-like conveying path that includes a bill discriminating unit, is connected to a bill receiving and dispensing port and a temporary storage unit, and connected to a plurality of loading boxes to convey bills; a second conveying path connected to the loading box to convey bills; a first gate that switches a conveying direction of the conveying path that conveys bills; and a controller configured to control switching of the first gate and conveyance of the conveying path. The controller controls the bills conveyed to the first conveying path in one of two directions to be conveyed to the loading box through the second conveying path via the first gate, and the bills conveyed from the loading box through the second conveying path to be conveyed to the first conveying path in one of the two directions via the first gate.

Bill handling apparatus

A bill handling apparatus includes: a first loop-like conveying path that includes a bill discriminating unit, is connected to a bill receiving and dispensing port and a temporary storage unit, and connected to a plurality of loading boxes to convey bills in two directions; a second conveying path connected to the loading box to convey bills in two directions; a first gate that connects the first conveying path with the second conveying path and switches a conveying direction of the conveying path that conveys bills; and a controller that controls switching of the first gate and conveyance of the conveying path. The controller controls the bills conveyed to the first conveying path in one of the two directions to be conveyed to the loading box through the second conveying path via the first gate, and the bills conveyed from the loading box through the second conveying path to be conveyed to the first conveying path in one of the two directions via the first gate.

A paper note handling apparatus includes a pay-in and pay-out mouth through which a paper note is paid in or paid out, a conveyance for conveying the paper note, a discrimination part to discriminate authenticity and denomination of the conveyed paper note, a temporary hold part to temporarily hold the paper note, a storing part to store the paper note, and a shifter to shift a position of the paper note in a widthwise direction of conveyance. The shifter rotates in a direction inclined relative to a direction of conveyance of the paper note and comes into contact with the paper note to shift the position of the paper note in the widthwise direction of conveyance.

Sheet handling apparatus

A sheet handling apparatus is proposed to be able to stably shift a position of a sheet. A sheet handling apparatus comprises: conveyance device for conveying a sheet; shift device, rotating in a direction inclined relative to a direction of conveyance of the sheet, for coming into contact with the sheet to shift a position of the sheet in a widthwise direction of conveyance; and shift presence and absence switching device for switching between a shift execution state, in which shift of the sheet is executed by the shift device, and a shift non-execution state, in which the shift is not executed by the shift device; wherein at least a part of that contact portion of the shift device, which comes into contact with a surface of the sheet, is positioned at a side of a shift direction relative to the conveyance device, which has a conveyance force during shift, and a frictional force of the shift device on the sheet at the time of execution of shift is set to be larger than that of the conveyance device on the sheet.
