Disclosed is a power supply device capable of optimizing a conversion efficiency of power so as to be able to supply, in accordance with an operation status of a load that is a supply target of power, power necessary for the load. The power supply device () includes a control unit () that refers to, on the basis of new power prediction information (R), a storage unit () that stores power information () in which power prediction information (S) indicating a prediction value of power and output power information (S) indicating an output power value, determines a reference value, and controls a power conversion unit () to adjusts a power conversion efficiency in accordance with the determined reference value.

Power supply device, power supply control method for the same, and recording medium

Each of two-dimensional sensors is exposed to an electron beam, which has passed through a sample, in a vacuum in order to store the energy from the electron beam on the two-dimensional sensor, and is then exposed to light or heat in order to release the stored energy as emitted light. The emitted light is photoelectrically detected and an image signal is thereby obtained which represents an electron microscope image of the sample. Read-out conditions which are to be used when the emitted light is detected are determined from an electron beam exposure amount which was set when the energy from the electron beam was stored on each two-dimensional sensor. Signals representing the read-out conditions determined for the two-dimensional sensors are stored in a storage device so that it is clear which read-out conditions correspond to which two-dimensional sensor. When light emitted by a two-dimensional sensor is to be detected, a signal which represents the read-out conditions corresponding to the two-dimensional sensor is read from the storage device, and the read-out conditions are set.

Electron microscope image recording and read-out method

A rack for housing recording media for an electron microscope includes a vertically movable rack for accommodating the recording media and composed of a plurality of shelves, and a unit for pushing out the recording media as well as a unit for entrance and exit of the recording media are provided at a predetermined height position. Two-dimensional sensors or cassettes for photographic films are accommodated within the rack. For photography, the rack is moved up and down to extract the desired two-dimensional sensors or cassettes for photographic films by the recording media pushing unit and the exit unit. After photography, the recording media are returned by the recording media entrance unit to the original position in the rack, so that a single magazine suffices for the receiving magazine and the feed magazine.

Magazine for accommodating recording medium for electron microscope

A radiation image read-out apparatus comprises a sheet holding device for holding an image-recorded stimulable phosphor sheet on a cylindrical surface, and a spinner provided with a deflection mirror for reflecting stimulating rays coming from a semi-transparent mirror to the stimulable phosphor sheet, and a condensing lens for converging the reflected stimulating rays on the stimulable phosphor sheet. The spinner rotates the deflection mirror and the condensing lens to scan the stimulating rays in a main scanning direction on the stimulable phosphor sheet, and the sheet holding device is moved normal to the main scanning direction. A detection lens converges light emitted by the stimulable phosphor sheet upon exposure to the stimulating rays, passing through the condensing lens and coming from the semi-transparent mirror. An aperture plate having an aperture allowing the passage of only the omitted light thus converged is provided at a position of convergence by the detection lens, and a photodetector is provided at the rear of the aperture plate.

Radiation image read-out apparatus

In a light beam scanning recording method, a continuous tone image is recorded on a photosensitive material by scanning a light beam deflected by a rotating polygon mirror on the photosensitive material and carrying out pulse number modulation or pulse width modulation of the light beam in accordance with image signals. A single picture element string is scanned by the light beam a plural number of times which is equal to integral multiples of the number of mirror surfaces of the rotating polygon mirror. The number of pulses per picture element or the pulse width per picture element is distributed among the plural number of times of scanning so that the total number of pulses per picture element or the total pulse width per picture element in the plural number of times of scanning coincides with a predetermined value.

Light beam scanning recording method

A rotatable head type electrophotographic apparatus comprises a rotatable head supported on a moveable table and having a corona charging electrode and a light source secured thereto to face outwardly of the circumferential surface thereof. A development processing unit is supported on the moveable table close to a photosensitive material supported on a platen having a curved supporting surface. The light source is driven in accordance with a predetermined modulating signal to form an electrostatic latent image in the photosensitive material when the rotatable head is rotated and moved above the photosensitive material. The latent image is immediately developed by processing liquid flowing in the development processing unit along the surface of the photosensitive material.

Rotatable head type electrophotographic apparatus, corona charging

A photosensitive material containing a hydrophilic pigment is exposed to light to form a pigment pattern defining a particular image. The photosensitive material is brought into intimate contact with an image receiving material having a pigment fixing layer. The mutually contacting materials are heated so that the pigment may be transferred from the photosensitive material to the pigment fixing layer. A pigment diffusion assistant, is supplied to an area between the mutually contacting materials before they are heated for pigment transfer. The diffusion assistant spreads along a line along which the two materials are in contact with each other and promotes the transfer of the pigment.

Process for thermal development and transfer

A method and apparatus for developing and transferring an image from a sheet of thermally developing photo-sensitive paper N containing a mobile pigment to a sheet of print paper P containing a pigment fixer, comprising a thermal developer 4 of the photo-sensitive paper, means for overlaying the photo-sensitive and print paper, a heater 8 for transferring the mobile pigments from the developed photo-sensitive paper to the print paper, and a separator 54 for peeling apart the photo-sensitive and print papers.

Thermal developing and transferring method

A light beam projecting system comprising a light source and a condenser lens system is mounted on a rotator to project radially outwardly a light beam modulated by a desired modulating signal representing information to be recorded while rotating together with the rotator. The rotator is mounted for movement in the direction parallel to the rotational axis thereof whereby the light beam emitted from the light beam projecting system is caused to scan a recording medium opposed to the peripheral surface of the rotator to record the information thereon.

Light beam rotary printer

A half-tone picture recording device with which half-tone images are accurately recorded. With the number of pulses applied during each sampling period being fixed, a light beam such as laser source is subjected to binary modulation and scanned on a photosensitive material to record the image of a half-tone picture thereon. Input signal levels representing the picture to be recorded are converted into a number of pulses for each sampling period by representing numbers of pulses to be applied during any particular sampling period with these values determined in accordance with output density levels with input signal levels, necessary exposure with output density levels, and pulse numbers with necessary exposure.

Half-tone picture recording device

A laser recorder device in which many levels of half-tone densities are accurately produced with smooth transitions between areas of different densities. An input signal is sampled with a sampling pulse in response to which digital output values of a predetermined function of the input signal are produced. Pulses are applied to a semiconductor laser beam source with the number and frequency of the pulses during a preset application time being determined in accordance with the magnitude of the input signal.

Laser recorder

A laser recording device adapted for use in a facsimile system in which a semiconductor laser is activated by a series of pulses the number of which is produced in accordance with an input signal. The input signal is sampled with a sampling pulse signal whereas the pulses applied to the semiconductor laser are produced at a frequency which is at least two orders of magnitude greater than the frequency of the pulses used to sample the input signal. The input signal is digitized and used to address a read-only memory which outputs a number of pulses in dependence upon the amplitude of the input signal. The output number of pulses may be logarithmically related to the magnitude of the input signal.

Laser type recording device

A laser recorder in which pictures with gradations at equal density intervals are reproduced with a high accuracy. An input analog video signal is sampled with a sampling pulse at a predetermined sampling rate. For each value of the sampled input signal, a number of high frequency pulses are outputted to modulate a semiconductor laser. The high frequency pulses are outputted so as to be distributed substantially in equal numbers on either side of the center of each sampling period.

Laser recorder reproducing a picture having half-tones of high accuracy

A laser recorder capable of recording a picture having halftones with densities of more than several tens of levels. An input video signal is sampled with a sampling pulse in response to which a number of high frequency pulses are applied to a beam source with the frequency of the high frequency pulse signal being higher by these two orders of magnitude than the frequency of the sampling pulse signal. The phase of the sampling pulse signal is alternated between adjacent scanning lines to thereby improve the number of available halftone densities.

In a laser beam recording system in which a laser beam is modulated by an acousto-optic modulator and the zero-order diffraction light beam is used to scan a recording material two-dimensionally for recording information, the zero-order diffraction light beam is vertically deflected to a light shielding mask located outside the recording area in the non-recording period. Thus, the horizontal scanning line is moved to the light shielding mask during the non-recording period and the recording material is prevented from being exposed to the attenuated zero-order diffraction light beam.
