A regenerative brake control device of a vehicle, which is configured to control a rotary electric motor that is configured to drive wheels at a regeneration ratio corresponding to a selected regeneration stage to thereby obtain a regenerative brake force, includes: a selecting section which is manually operated to select a regeneration stage from a plurality of regeneration stages which have been set; and a control section which is configured to make control so that, when a predetermined operation is performed on the selecting section, a regeneration stage in which the predetermined operation has not been performed on the selecting section is automatically changed to another regeneration stage.

A driving support apparatus for a hybrid vehicle including an engine and a motor, in which the engine starts running when any one of parameters indicating a state of the hybrid vehicle reaches an engine start threshold set for the parameters, the driving support apparatus includes a current value acquiring section that acquires current values of the parameters, a margin calculation section that calculates margin levels for the current values of the parameters for keeping the engine stopping using the current values of the parameters and the engine start thresholds, and an output section that outputs the smallest margin level of the calculated margin levels.

A controlling apparatus is provided for a vehicle including a motor, an inverter, and a battery. The controlling apparatus includes a determiner, an estimator, and a controller. The determiner judges whether a first condition is satisfied or not. The first condition is satisfied if the vehicle is in a coasting state in a regeneration prohibited mode in which a regenerative brake is disabled. The estimator estimates whether a second condition is satisfied or not. The second condition is satisfied if the motor is not to generate a regenerative torque upon a shutdown of the inverter. The controller shuts down the inverter if the determiner judges that the first condition is satisfied and the estimator estimates that the second condition is satisfied.
