A rear seat display device is provided in a vehicle at a position viewable from a rear seat of the vehicle. The rear seat display device includes a display, a built-in speaker, and a controller that (i) acquires a signal relating to control of a sound to be output to a vehicle speaker mounted in the vehicle from an in-vehicle audio device, the vehicle speaker being a different speaker than the built-in speaker, and (ii) controls a sound to be output from the built-in speaker based on the signal relating to the control of the sound.

A deposit removal system includes a camera, display means that displays an image that is acquired by the camera, detection means that detects an operation of a user on the display means, deposit removal means that performs a removal action for removing a deposit that is attached to a lens of the camera, and control means that causes the deposit removal means to perform the removal action, based on the operation on an image detected by the detection means.

An extraneous-matter removing apparatus according to an embodiment includes a connector, a detector, and a removal unit. The connector is connected with a branch wire branching from a camera wire. The camera wire transmits a start-up signal for starting up a camera provided outside of a vehicle. The detector detects the start-up signal flowing through the branch wire connected with the connector. The removal unit performs, when the detector detects the start-up signal, a removing operation of an extraneous matter attached to the camera.

Extraneous-matter removing apparatus

In an image processing device configured to be installed in a vehicle, an image acquirer acquires camera images captured by cameras provided on the vehicle. A synthetic image generator generates synthetic images, which include downward views of the vehicle and a periphery thereof viewed from viewpoints different from one another, based on the camera images. A display image provider outputs, to the display device installed in the vehicle, information corresponding to a display image in which the synthetic images are continuously reproduced.
