Fuse unit and method of manufacturing fuse unit

The present invention provides a fuse unit, which reduces the number of components of a bus bar and eliminates alignment of tuning fork terminals, and a method of manufacturing the fuse unit. Disclosed is a method of manufacturing a fuse unit, which includes a bus bar including a battery terminal, a fuse connection terminal, and an external connection terminal and is manufactured by integrating the bus bar and a resin covering body by insert molding. In this manufacturing method, the fuse connection terminal is constituted of an input side tuning fork terminal connected to the battery terminal and an output side tuning fork terminal connected to the external connection terminal, the input side tuning fork terminal and the output side tuning fork terminal are connected by a joining portion so as to face each other, the bus bar including the fuse connection terminal is integrated with the resin covering body by insert molding. After the insert molding, the joining portion is cut and removed through a cutting window of the resin covering body, which exposes the joining portion to the outside, and the input side tuning fork terminal and the output side tuning fork terminal are separated.

The invention provides a fuse that has a simple structure without having a flap included in a conventional fuse but can prevent a terminal of a different fuse from entering from an opening of an insulating housing. The present invention provides a housing, fuse, and fuse box, with which it is possible to differentiate a multi-pole fusible link and prevent misassembly, while holding down costs. This housing is attached to a multi-pole fusible link contained within a containing part of a fuse box, and is provided with misassembly-preventing protrusions which are removable according to the type of multi-pole fusible link, the locations of the misassembly-preventing protrusions corresponding to the locations of recesses which are provided to the containing part that is to contain the multi-pole fusible link, and in which the misassembly-preventing protrusions can be contained.

The invention in this application aims to provide a multipolar fusible link in which its lateral width can decrease while its entire height does not increase. A multipolar fusible link () includes: an input terminal (); a bus bar () through which an electric current input from the input terminal () flows; and a plurality of terminals () connected to the bus bar () via fusible sections (). By changing a shape of a lower edge () of the bus bar () to which the fusible sections () are connected, a width between the lower edge () and an upper edge () positioned opposite the lower edge () is changed in accordance with the fusible sections () connected to the lower edge (). An electronic component and a method for producing the electronic component achieve efficient production of resistive elements with various resistances. The electronic component includes a pair of terminals opposite each other and a resistive element disposed between the pair of terminals. The resistive element includes a plurality of dots arranged so as to overlap each other in a reference arrangement pattern excluding a portion of the arrangement pattern. To produce the electronic component, an electronic component is prototyped in advance and includes a resistive element in which the dots are arranged in the entire reference arrangement pattern between the pair of terminals. The prototyped resistive element is then partially removed so as to attain a desired resistance. An electronic component is then produced in which the dots are arranged in the reference arrangement pattern with a portion of the arrangement pattern excluded on the basis of the shape of the partially removed resistive element.

A multilayer electronic component including a resin layer disposed on a mounting board side is mounted on a mounting board, and has a structure such that, even when deformation, such as deflection and strain, occurs, a stress on the multilayer electronic component is relieved. In the multilayer electronic component, ends of columnar conductors protrude from a main surface of a resin layer facing the outside. The multilayer electronic component is mounted on a mounting board, and the ends of the columnar conductors are electrically connected to conductive lands. In this case, a predetermined gap is formed between the multilayer electronic component and the mounting board.

To provide an electronic component including a resistor element that can be efficiently produced with a range of resistances, and a method for manufacturing the electronic component, the electronic component includes a pair of terminals, and a resistor element disposed between the terminals. The resistor element includes at least two resistive portions (hereinafter referred to as a first resistive portion and a second resistive portion) that are continuously disposed. The first resistive portion includes a plurality of first dots overlapping one another. A multilayer electronic component having a ceramic substrate and a resin layer mounted on a mounting substrate. Recess portions are formed at an outside-facing major surface side of the resin layer. In the resin layer, columnar conductors are disposed so that axis line directions thereof are aligned in a thickness direction of the resin layer. End portions of the columnar conductors are located inside the recess portions further from opening faces thereof and have end surfaces exposed in the recess portions. When a multilayer electronic component is mounted on a mounting substrate, solder is provided on the end surfaces of the columnar conductors in the recess portions. The thickness of solder used in the above mounting does not interfere with a reduction in size and height of an electronic device that includes the above multilayer electronic component.

A method of forming a ceramic structure includes disposing substrate-forming ceramic green sheets having conductors, internal conductors, and via conductors so as to sandwich connecting member-forming ceramic green sheets having via conductors, followed by lamination and bonding thereof by pressure application, with the conductors being formed using a conductive paste primarily composed of a powdered metal, so that a ceramic laminate composed of ceramic molded bodies laminated to each other is formed. The ceramic laminate is fired at a temperature at which the substrate-forming ceramic green sheets are sintered and the connecting member-forming ceramic green sheets are not sintered and at a temperature not more than the melting point of the metal, and subsequently, the connecting member-forming ceramic green sheets are removed from the fired composite laminate, thereby forming a ceramic structure.
