A body of an oil jet is provided with: an oil supply port; a cylinder; and an oil injection port. A piston valve is accommodated in the cylinder. The piston valve forms in the cylinder a differential pressure room which is a closed compartment. In the piston valve, an orifice which makes the differential pressure room being communicated with a side of the oil supply port is formed. The piston valve is biased toward a position at which the oil injection port is closed by a spring. A first oil injection nozzle is connected to the oil injection port. A leak hole which allows oil to be leaked outside of the cylinder from the differential pressure room is open at the side surface of the cylinder. Further, a second oil injection nozzle is connected to the leak hole.

Oil jet

There is provided an oil feed member capable of preventing lubricant from being excessively fed from an oil feed member to lubrication portions of valve gears, and a lubricant feed mechanism for an engine provided with the same. An oil feed member for feeding lubricant to lubrication portions of valve gears for opening and closing intake valves and exhaust valves of an engine, the oil feed member including: an upper panel member and a lower panel member laid over each other; and an oil feed passage formed by recessing laid surfaces of the upper panel member and the lower panel member, wherein the oil feed passage includes basis oil passages formed on a downstream side, and an introduction oil passage formed on an upstream side and having a smaller lubricant flow area than that of the basis oil passages.

An oil level regulating apparatus includes a valve unit and a solenoid unit. The valve unit includes a housing having an inflow hole, an outflow hole, and a leak hole, a partition separating the outflow hole and the leak hole, defining a valve chamber close to the outflow hole, and having a partition continuous hole, a valve dividing the valve chamber into an introduction chamber and a pressure chamber and having a valve continuous hole, and a valve biasing member biasing the valve. The solenoid unit has a shaft configured to open and close a leak channel. The shaft can open and close the leak channel on the downstream side of the pressure chamber. When the shaft closes the leak channel, the valve is switched to a closed valve state of closing the outflow hole.

Oil level regulating apparatus for an engine

A body of an oil jet including: an oil supply port which opens into an oil passage in a cylinder block of an internal combustion engine; a cylinder one end of which is communicated with the oil supply port and the other end of which is closed; and an oil injection port which opens on a side surface of the cylinder. A piston valve is accommodated in the cylinder. The piston valve forms in the cylinder a differential pressure room which is a closed compartment. Moreover, an orifice which makes the differential pressure room being communicated with a side of the oil supply port is formed in the piston valve. The piston valve is biased toward a position at which the oil injection port is closed by a spring. Furthermore, a leak hole which allows oil to be leaked outside of the body from the differential pressure room is formed in the body.

A piston cooling jet includes a housing, a nozzle, a valve, a pressure chamber, a pressure adjusting passage, and a filter. The nozzle is provided to project outward from the housing, and capable of spraying oil toward a piston. The valve is capable of moving reciprocally inside the housing, and configured to receive a load due to a hydraulic pressure in an engine-side oil passage applied from a front side of the valve. The valve includes a valve-side oil passage that communicates with the engine-side oil passage. The pressure chamber communicates with the valve-side oil passage. The pressure adjusting passage is disposed between the pressure chamber and a space outside the housing. The filter is disposed in the valve, and configured to remove foreign matter that cannot pass through the pressure adjusting passage from oil passing through the valve-side oil passage.
