A resin composition or the like may exhibit high vibration damping properties even at a relatively high temperature, have good moldability, and have excellent impact resistance. The resin composition contains a thermoplastic resin (A), a thermoplastic resin (B), and a polar resin (C), wherein the resin composition satisfies (1) to (3): (1) the thermoplastic resin (B) has at least one of a reactive functional group and a monomer unit containing a hetero atom; (2) the thermoplastic resin (A) and the thermoplastic resin (B) are different types of resins; (3) with respect to the total mass of the resin composition, the content of the thermoplastic resin (A) is 1 to 30% by mass, the content of the thermoplastic resin (B) is 1 to 30% by mass, and the content of the polar resin (C) is 40 to 98% by mass.

The present invention relates to a modified hydrogenated product of a block copolymer having a polymer block (A) containing a structural unit derived from an aromatic vinyl compound, and a polymer block (B) containing a structural unit derived from a conjugated diene compound, a method of producing the modified hydrogenated product, and a resin composition containing the modified hydrogenated product. The modified hydrogenated product has one or more functional groups selected from an alkoxysilyl group, a carboxy group, an amino group, a hydroxy group, an epoxy group, and an acid anhydride-derived group, and satisfies the following conditions. Condition (1): after stay at 330&#xb0; C. for 30 min under nitrogen atmosphere, a weight change rate is &#x2212;5.5% or more. Condition (2): the peak top intensity of tan &#x3b4; measured in accordance with JIS K7244-10 (2005), under conditions including a strain amount of 0.1%, a frequency of 1 Hz, a measurement temperature of &#x2212;70 to 120&#xb0; C., and a temperature rise rate of 3&#xb0; C./min, is 1.0 or more.

Modified hydrogenated product, method for producing same, resin composition, and various uses thereof

A block copolymer hydrogenate, which is a hydrogenate of a block copolymer having a polymer block (A) containing a structural unit derived from an aromatic vinyl compound in an amount of more than 70 mol %, and a polymer block (B) containing a structural unit derived from a conjugated diene compound in an amount of 30 mol % or more, and further satisfies the following requirements: Requirement (1): The content of the polymer block (A) in the block copolymer hydrogenate is 1 to 30% by mass. Requirement (2): The conjugated diene compound contains isoprene. Requirement (3): A total content of the 1,2-bond unit and the 3,4-bond unit in the structural units derived from the conjugated diene compound is 60 mol % or more. Requirement (4): The hydrogenation rate of the polymer block (B) is 60 mol % or more. Requirement (5): The block copolymer hydrogenate has a serial temperature range where tan &#x3b4;, as measured according to JIS K7244-10 (2005) and under the conditions of a strain of 0.1%, a frequency of 1 Hz, a measurement temperature of &#x2212;70 to 100&#xb0; C. and a rate of temperature increase of 3&#xb0; C./min, is 1.0 or more, and the maximum width of the temperature range is 16&#xb0; C. or more.
