A liquid container includes a pack main body and a covering body. The covering body covers a part of the pack main body and is more hardly deformable than the pack main body. The pack main body includes a trunk part, a pair of sealing parts and a spout. The trunk part is formed into a rectangular cylindrical shape in a state where the ink is stored. The pair of sealing parts seal both ends of the trunk part. At least one of the sealing parts is formed into a gabled roof shape having a pair of flat portions facing each other in the thickness direction and a pair of gable portions facing each other in a width direction. The covering body includes a pair of covering flat plates covering at least a part of the pair of flat portions.

An inkjet recording apparatus of the present disclosure includes a recording head, a supply unit, a supply path, and a circulation path. The supply unit supplies liquid to the recording head. The liquid passes through the supply path to be supplied from the supply unit to the recording head. The liquid passes through the circulation path to return from the recording head to the supply unit. The supply path is provided with a supply coupling, and the circulation path is provided with a circulation coupling. Such part of the supply path as is located on an upstream side with respect to the supply coupling and such part of the circulation path as is located on a downstream side with respect to the circulation coupling are connected to each other by the bypass path which is switchable between a communicating state and a cut-off state.

Inkjet recording apparatus

A developing device develops, with developer, an electrostatic latent image formed on an image carrying member, and includes a developing tank, a developer carrying member, and a drive input portion. The developing tank stores the developer and has a receiving port and a discharge port through which the developer is received and discharged respectively. The developer carrying member rotates in the developing tank while carrying the developer. The drive input portion receives a rotational force from outside the developing device and transmit the rotational force to a driven rotation shaft that is a rotation shaft of the developer carrying member. The receiving port, the discharge port, and the drive input portion are provided in the developing tank to be close to an end of the developing tank in a longitudinal direction of the developing tank.

Developing device, image forming apparatus

An image forming apparatus includes a transfer belt, a photoconductor drum, and a transmission member. The transfer belt includes a transfer surface. The photoconductor drum faces the transfer surface of the transfer belt in an attachment state where the photoconductor drum is attached to an apparatus main body. The transmission member is attached to a drum end of the photoconductor drum on the insertion direction side and transmits an input rotational driving force to the photoconductor drum. The transmission member includes a flange and a gear. The flange is larger than the photoconductor drum in outer diameter. The gear projects from the flange in the insertion direction with teeth being formed on an outer circumferential surface of the gear, the teeth receiving the rotational driving force. The gear is larger than the photoconductor drum and smaller than the flange in outer diameter.

An image forming apparatus according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes a toner conveyance portion, a vent hole portion, an air suction portion, and a filter portion. The toner conveyance portion forms a toner conveyance passage between a developing device and a collection container such that toner discharged from the developing device is conveyed in the toner conveyance passage and collected in the collection container. The vent hole portion is formed in the toner conveyance portion and allows inside and outside of the toner conveyance portion to communicate with each other such that air can be ventilated between the inside and the outside of the toner conveyance portion. The air suction portion sucks the air inside the toner conveyance portion via the vent hole portion. The filter portion is disposed on the vent hole portion and traps toner contained in the air sucked by the air suction portion.

An image forming apparatus includes an image carrier unit, a developing device, a unit support frame, a retainer, and a developing device moving mechanism. The retainer swings in a first direction, in which the image carrier unit and the developing device are mounted in the unit support frame, to perform positioning of an image carrier, and swings in a second direction, in which the image carrier unit and the developing device are drawn out from a main body of the image forming apparatus, to unlock a positioned state of the image carrier. The developing device moving mechanism associates with the swing of the retainer in the first direction to dispose the developing device at a developing position, and associates with the swing of the retainer in the second direction to dispose the developing device at a separation position.

A developing device includes a developing roller and a transfer mechanism configured to transfer the developing roller between a contact position where the developing roller is in contact with a photosensitive drum and a separate position where the developing roller is away from the photosensitive drum. The transfer mechanism includes a bearing unit supporting a rotary shaft of the developing roller to allow rotation of the rotary shaft, a pressing member pressing the bearing unit, a shaft member, an urging member, and a wire member. The wire member connects the bearing unit and the shaft member and is configured to experience an urging force of the urging member to urge the bearing unit toward moving away from the photosensitive drum and, upon release of the urging force of the urging member, move the bearing unit close to the photosensitive drum under a pressing force of the pressing member.

A developing device includes a contact member and a developing adhesion member. The contact member is provided to an air releasing part communicating an inside and an outside of a developer case storing a developer containing a toner, in a condition being contactable with an agitating member agitating and conveying the developer in the developing case. The developing adhesion member is supported by the contact member and is configured to collect the developer within air flowing from the inside to the outside of the developing case and to receive vibration caused by agitating and conveying operations of the agitating member through the contact member.

A development device includes a sheet member, a support member, and a vibration applying device. The sheet member is disposed between a developer carrier and a blade to receive a developer falling from the developer carrier toward the blade. The developer carrier is disposed to face to an image carrier on which an electrostatic latent image is formed and configured to supply the developer to the image carrier in a facing area to the image carrier. The blade is configured to regulate an amount of the developer carried on the developer carrier. The support member holds the sheet member. The vibration applying device applies vibration to the sheet member. The sheet member is stretchable and flexible and is stretched over the support member.

Development device and image forming apparatus including the same

An image forming apparatus includes an image forming section including an image carrier and a developing device, and a developer recovery mechanism. The developing device includes, a developer carrier, and a developer discharge portion. The image forming section incorporates a developing device employing a first developing method where toner is caused to adhere to the image carrier by a magnetic brush formed on the developer carrier, or a developing device having a toner carrier between the developer carrier and the image carrier, and employing a second developing method where a toner layer is formed on the toner carrier by a magnetic brush formed on the developer carrier, and toner is caused to adhere to the image carrier by the toner layer formed on the toner. These developing devices, in the image forming section, each have a same positional relationship between the developer discharge portion and an image-carrier rotation shaft.

A developing device according to the present disclosure is provided with a developing container, a first stirring conveyance member and a second stirring conveyance member that stir and convey a developer within the developing container, and a developer carrying member that carries the developer. The developing container includes a discharge passage where a developer discharge port for discharging surplus developer within the developing container is formed. In the discharge passage, a discharge screw having a rotation shaft and a spiral blade is disposed. Within the discharge passage, at a portion on an upstream side of the developer discharge port in a developer discharge direction, there is provided a discharge regulating member that regulates discharge of the developer.
