An operation device includes a scroll wheel, a portion of which projects from an opening of an operation surface. The scroll wheel is configured to be rotated by an operator. The scroll wheel includes a ring member that is formed by a light transmissive member, which is configured to transmit light. The operation device includes: a light source that is configured to generate light for nighttime illumination; a wheel illumination light guide member that is configured to guide the light, which is outputted from the light source, to the scroll wheel; and a metal film that is formed at an inner peripheral surface of the ring member.

Operation device

A luminance control device and a luminance control method for controlling luminance of a light emitting member are provided in order to reduce the amount of information to be stored while preventing the user from feeling uncomfortable. The CPU divides by the interpolation division number a value obtained subtracting the reference duty ratio from the reference duty ratio so as to calculate an interpolation variation width, and integrates the interpolation variation width to the reference duty ratio every time the interpolation period elapses, and the variation width in the luminance of the LED is therefore reduced, preventing users to feel uncomfortable, which allows for suppressing the amount of information to be stored.

Luminance control apparatus and luminance control method

A vehicle interior illumination device includes an illumination lamp that is provided in a vehicle interior and is configured to be turned on to illuminate the vehicle interior, a detector that detects a condition to have the illumination lamp to be turned on, and a controller that controls a lighting of the illumination lamp. When the condition is detected by the detector, the controller lights the illumination lamp with a first light amount and when the condition is not detected by the detector, the controller lights the illumination lamp with a second light amount smaller than the first light amount.

Vehicle interior illumination device

A load controller includes: an input circuit which detects that a drive instruction signal is less or equal to a first input threshold value; a constant current source activated in accordance with a detection by the input circuit; a PWM signal generating unit that is activated by the constant current source and generates a PWM signal; a comparator that is activated by the constant current source and compares the drive instruction signal with a second input threshold value set to be lower than the first input threshold value; a logic calculation unit that carries out a logic calculation of the PWM signal with a compared result of the comparator; a drive control unit that operates in accordance with an output from the logic calculation unit to generate a PWM drive control signal; and a load driving element that is driven by the PWM drive control signal to control a load.

Load controller to pulse width modulation-control a load

A load controller includes: a first input circuit which detects that a drive instruction signal by an operation of a drive instructing unit is less or equal to a first input threshold value; a first constant current source activated in accordance with the detection; a PWM signal supply unit that is activated by the first constant current source and supplies a PWM signal having a prescribed frequency and a duty ratio; a constant control signal supply unit that supplies a constant control signal during failure of the first input circuit or the first constant current source; a drive control unit that generates a PWM drive control signal in accordance with the PWM signal and generates a constant drive control signal in accordance with the constant control signal; and a load driving element that is controlled by the PWM drive or constant drive control signal to drive a load.
