To provide an electrolytic capacitor with improved reliability. The electrolytic capacitor including: at least one capacitor element including an anode foil having a first part including a first end, and a second part including a second end, a dielectric layer formed on at least a surface of the second part, and a cathode part covering at least part of the dielectric layer, a package body enclosing the capacitor element; and an external electrode. At least a surface of the second part has a porous portion, and at least an end face of the first end is exposed from the package body and is in contact with the external electrode.

Electrolytic capacitor and manufacturing method thereof

To provide an electrolytic capacitor with improved reliability. The electrolytic capacitor including: at least one capacitor element including an anode foil having a first part including a first end, and a second part including a second end, a dielectric layer formed on at least a surface of the second part, and a cathode part covering at least part of the dielectric layer; a package body enclosing the capacitor element; and an external electrode. At least a surface of the second part has a porous portion, and at least an end face of the first end is exposed from the package body and is in contact with the external electrode.

An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element, an exterior body that seals the capacitor element, and an external electrode. The capacitor element includes an anode foil, a dielectric layer, and a cathode part. The anode foil includes an anode lead-out part and a cathode forming part. The anode lead-out part has a first end of the anode foil. The cathode forming part has a second end of the anode foil. The dielectric layer is disposed on a surface of the cathode forming part. The cathode part covers at least part of the dielectric layer. The first end in the anode lead-out part protrudes from an end surface of the exterior body. At least part of the first end is in contact with the external electrode.

Electrolytic capacitor and method for manufacturing same

An electrolytic capacitor production method is performed in the following procedure. An anode body having a dielectric layer is impregnated with a dispersion containing a conductive polymer and a first solvent. Then, a pH of the dispersion with which the anode body has been impregnated is adjusted or a base is added to the dispersion with which the anode body has been impregnated. Then, at least a part of the first solvent is removed from the anode body.

Electrolytic capacitor production method

A method for producing an electrolytic capacitor is performed in the following procedure. A solid electrolyte layer including a conductive polymer and a polyhydric alcohol is formed on an anode body on which a dielectric layer is formed. Then, the anode body on which the solid electrolyte layer is formed is impregnated with a first treatment liquid that contains an oxoacid having two or more hydroxy groups.
