A vehicle seat includes: a leg member, attached to a lower end portion of a seat main body movable between use and stowed positions and movable along with a seat main body, and a leg holding member, elastically deformable to hold a holding target portion of the leg member. The leg holding member includes separated first and second portions which are configured to hold the holding target portion having passed through an introduction opening of the leg holding member formed between the first and second portions with the holding target portion interposed between the first and second portions when the leg member moves along with the seat main body moving toward the use position. A deformation amount restriction portion restricts deformation generated when the leg holding member is elastically deformed so that the first and second portions are separated when the holding target portion passes through the introduction opening.

Conveyance seat

Pressures of left and right clutch pistons () applied to left and right disk portions () of a common clutch outer () of left and right clutches () distributing drive force of an input shaft () to left and right output shafts () are, finally, transmitted to and supported by a side housing () through a boss portion () of the clutch outer () and a thrust bearing (). Accordingly, the left and right clutches () can be engaged with no problem. Even when the pressures of the clutch pistons () deform the left and right disk portions () of the clutch outer (), the gap (&#x3b1;) formed therebetween prevents the transmission of the pressure of one of the clutches () to the other clutch (). Accordingly, the interference between the operations of the left and right clutches () is prevented.

Power transmission device

A vehicle seat accommodating device of the invention includes: a seat configured to include a seat cushion and a seat back supported so as to be tiltable with respect to the seat cushion; an accommodation recess portion formed on a floor located behind the seat; and a support unit movably supporting the seat so as to accommodate the seat in the accommodation recess portion in a state where the seat back is folded so as to be overlapped on the seat cushion, wherein when the seat is adjusted to a seating posture, both ends of the seat cushion in a vehicle width direction are mounted on wheel housings that are bloated from side walls of a vehicle body toward the inside in the vehicle width direction.

Vehicle seat accommodating device

A vehicle seat includes: a seat cushion; and a front end transfer member which supports a front end of the seat cushion movably in a front-rear direction of a vehicle; and a rear end transfer member which supports a rear end of the seat cushion movably in a front-rear direction of the vehicle; wherein the seat cushion is storable in a storage concave part provided in a vehicle floor further to a rear than the seat cushion, and the front end transfer member is provided on a vehicle floor adjacent to the front of the storage concave part, and the rear end transfer member is provided on a vehicle floor adjacent to a side of the storage concave part, or provided on a side interior surface of the storage concave part.

The invention is related to a method for assembling a power transfer apparatus for selectively changing the speed of the output shaft relative to the speed of the input shaft. The method includes assembling an oil pump driving pin to the output shaft, assembling an oil pump sub-assembly, assembling a planetary carrier sub-assembly to the pump cover of the oil pump sub-assembly, assembling a clutch sub-assembly to the planetary carrier, assembling a transmission brake to the clutch sub-assembly in such a manner that the brake inner hub is coupled with the clutch piston, inserting the input shaft so as to fit in the first sun gear at the first spline and the clutch sub-assembly at the second spline, respectively and assembling a front case sub-assembly having bearings for rotatably bearing the input shaft and an actuator for actuating the transmission brake to the differential.

Method for assembling power transfer apparatus

A power transfer apparatus including a clutch having a biasing device for biasing the clutch piston in a direction in which the clutch discs engage with the clutch plates, a transmission brake disposed in line in an axial direction of the clutch, an actuator disposed in line in an axial direction of the transmission brake for disengaging the clutch at the same time of applying the transmission brake, and a planetary carrier sub-assembly disposed in line in the axial direction of the clutch, wherein the power transfer apparatus provided between an input shaft and an output shaft which are accommodated within a casing for selectively changing the speed of the output shaft.

Power transfer apparatus

In an in-vehicle monitor support structure of the present invention, a rotation support section which rotates about a vertical axis is provided on one of seats and positioned on the left and right of a vehicle with space provided therebetween, and a monitor is supported by the rotation support section in a state in which one side of the monitor is adjacent to the aforementioned axis and the other side is positioned laterally from the axis. Consequently, movement between the front and rear seats is easily achieved.

In-vehicle monitor support structure

An output shaft bearing portion which is provided in an extension housing to be attached to an outside of an end wall portion of a casing main body of a transmission casing is lubricated by lubrication oil which is supplied to lubricating portions inside the casing main body. In the end wall portion there is formed an oil guide passage which guides the lubrication oil supplied to the lubricating portions inside the casing main body. Inside the extension housing, there is formed a rib which guides the lubrication oil flown from the oil guide passage, into a position in which the lubrication oil can be scraped by a gear wheel provided inside the extension housing. The lubrication oil scraped by the gear wheel is supplied to the output shaft bearing portion.

Lubricating structure for output shaft bearing portion in transmission

In a transmission with a built-in planetary gear mechanism which has an element to be fixed to a casing of the transmission, inner elements are sub-assembled by mounting a plurality of transmission constituting members inclusive of the planetary gear mechanism. After containing the inner elements inside the casing, the element to be fixed is arranged to be fixable to the casing from a peripheral wall portion of the casing. The element to be fixed is fixed to the cylinder portion of a hydraulic brake to be built in the transmission. The cylinder portion is fixed to the casing by means of fixing members which are inserted into the casing from an outside of the peripheral wall portion of the transmission casing.

Transmission equipped with planetary gear mechanism and planetary gear mechanism

A one-way clutch adapted to be disposed in parallel with a hydraulic friction element includes a first plate adapted to connect to an inner member of the hydraulic friction element and a second plate disposed so as to face the first plate in an axial direction thereof and adapted to connect to an outer member of the hydraulic friction element. The first plate has pocket portions concavely provided in an axially internal surface thereof. The second plate has notched portions concavely provided in an axially internal surface thereof, and pawls are tiltably mounted in the pocket portions of the first plate. The first plate is formed integrally with the inner member of the hydraulic friction element.

Transmission with planetary gear mechanism and method for assembling the same

A continuously variable transmission for use on vehicle, which is provided in an FR drive power transmission path to change the rotational drive power of the engine in continuous speed variation, comprises a variable displacement type hydraulic swash plate pump (P) and a hydraulic swash plate motor (M), which are connected with each other through a hydraulic closed circuit (51). The hydraulic pump (P), which is driven by the engine, delivers oil to the hydraulic motor (M), and the hydraulic motor (M), which is driven by the oil being received, transmits the rotational drive power to the rear wheels. The hydraulic pump (P), the hydraulic closed circuit (51) and the hydraulic motor (M) are arranged in this order in series in a rearward direction from the output shaft of the engine in the vehicle, and hydraulic servo mechanisms (45) and (65) that swivel the swash plates of the hydraulic pump (P) and the hydraulic motor (M) and hydraulic control valves (V) that perform various hydraulic control operations are placed under the hydraulic continuously variable transmission mechanism of the transmission.

Continuously variable transmission for use on vehicle

A continuously variable transmission for vehicles, in which the power from a prime mover is divided by a power dividing mechanism and transmitted to a hydraulic continuously variable transmission (HCVT) apparatus and to a mechanical transmitting means for mechanical transmission of power, and the power from the HCVT apparatus and the mechanical transmitting means is collected and selectively outputted for satisfying both the maximum speed performance and the fuel consumption performance of the vehicle. A lock-up brake in the power dividing mechanism stops the rotation of the hydraulic pump of the HCVT so that the power from the input member may be mechanically transmitted to the mechanical transmitting means only via the power dividing mechanism to achieve a minimum gear ratio. A lock-up clutch directly connects the input member and the mechanical transmitting means so that the power from the input member may be directly and mechanically transmitted to the mechanical transmitting means to achieve a greater gear ratio than the minimum reduction ratio.

Continuously variable transmission for vehicles

A driving force from a motor is transmitted through a pinion, a first gear, a second gear, a third gear, a link, a control lever, a control shaft, a parking shaft and a parking lever to a parking pole. A lost motion spring is mounted between the control shaft and the parking lever for biasing the parking pole toward a parking gear. A one-way clutch is mounted between the third gear and a housing. The one-way clutch permits the driving force from the motor to be transmitted to the parking pole and prevents the resilient force of the lost motion spring from being transmitted back to the motor.

Parking system for a vehicle

A power transmitting apparatus for use in a transportation vehicle includes a motor shaft of a vehicle-driving motor, an input shaft operatively connecting with the motor shaft, output shafts provided in parallel with the input shaft to be connected with driven wheels of the vehicle, and a transmitting mechanism for transmitting driving power from the input shaft to the output shafts. The opposite end portions of the motor shaft are supported by a pair of motor shaft bearings, and one of the motor shaft end portions supports one of the opposite end portions of the input shaft in such a manner that the motor shaft can transmit driving power from the vehicle-driving motor to the input shaft. The other end portion of the input shaft is supported by another bearing, and the transmitting gearing is disposed adjacent to the other end portion of the input shaft remotely from the section where the one end portion of the input shaft is supported. This arrangement can make unnecessary one separate bearing to support the one end portion of the input shaft of the speed-reducing mechanism, and hence reduce the number of the necessary bearings. The arrangement can also substantially reduce the axial length of the housing necessary for receiving and retaining the bearings. Consequently, the size and weight of the power transmitting apparatus can be reduced.
