A controlling circuitry of a power converter performs switchover control for, on the basis of a level specification signal, switching between a 3-level operation mode of outputting AC voltage composed of 3-level voltages at a positive side and a negative side of a DC circuit and a voltage-division point of DC voltage between the positive side and the negative side of the DC circuit by performing ON/OFF control of semiconductor elements, and a 2-level operation mode of outputting AC voltage composed of 2-level voltages at the positive side and the negative side of the DC circuit by performing ON/OFF control of the semiconductor elements, and switches a compensation value for compensating error between a voltage command and AC voltage, between a case of the 2-level operation mode and a case of the 3-level operation mode.

Control unit for power converter, and power conversion apparatus

A power conversion device includes a switching signal generation unit that generates switching signals so that time points of at least one of pairs synchronize with each other. A first pair includes a rising time point at a first junction point of a first single-phase leg, and a falling time point at a second junction point of a second single-phase leg. A second pair includes a falling time point at the first junction point and a rising time point at the second junction point. The switching signal generation unit determines time points to turn on or turn off for upper arm switching element and a lower arm switching element based on phase currents respectively at a rising time point and at a falling time point of the terminal voltages.

Power conversion device and rotary machine drive system

In a rotating machine control device which controls an alternating current voltage command which is transmitted to an electric power converter, the alternating current voltage command is generated so that 1f component of the phase current may follow a current command. However, when the rotor position information by a position detecting element which detects the position of the rotor of a rotating machine has an error, an offset component is produced in the phase current. A controller includes an offset compensation part which calculates an offset compensation amount, from a detection result of the detection current so that the offset component of the detection current of the current detecting element may be decreased, and performs an addition or subtraction operation of an offset compensation command to the alternating current voltage command which a voltage command generation part outputs.

A rotating machine control device for controlling a rotating machine having a stator winding and a field winding includes a current command generation unit which generates a current command value on the basis of the temperature of the rotating machine. The current command generation unit includes a constraint condition setting unit which calculates a constraint condition on the basis of a torque command, stator winding voltage, stator winding current, and field winding current, an optimization calculation unit which calculates and outputs the current command value, using the constraint condition and an evaluation function, and a constraint condition update unit which updates the constraint condition on the basis of the temperature of the rotating machine. The current command generation unit calculates and outputs the current command value, using the updated constraint condition.

There has been a drawback in that current command values need to be set for a current command unit of a power conversion device in accordance with efficiency, and thus the number of operation steps increases. In the power conversion device connected between a three-phase AC rotating machine and a DC power supply and configured to convert DC power into AC power, a DC voltage value, of the DC power supply, that is to be inputted to a current command unit of the power conversion device is corrected on the basis of an efficiency index, and a current command value to be outputted by the current command unit is changed on the basis of the corrected DC voltage value and a torque command value, whereby the efficiencies of the power conversion device and the three-phase AC rotating machine are controlled.

Switching control of an inverter is performed such that rising and falling of a terminal voltage of U phase including upper and lower arm switching elements are calculated, and the calculated rising of the terminal voltage of U phase and falling of a terminal voltage of V phase or W phase or the calculated falling of the terminal voltage of U phase and rising of the terminal voltage of V phase or W phase are synchronized with each other.

Rotation angle detection device having increased accuracy

The electric motor control device includes a rotation angle correction amount calculation unit that, based on a rotation angle signal for an alternating current electric motor output from an angle sensor and a current detection signal for the alternating current electric motor output from a detector, calculates a rotation angle correction amount to correct a rotation angle error between the rotation angle signal and a magnetic pole position of the alternating current electric motor, wherein the rotation angle correction amount calculation unit, based on a current detection signal when a short circuit is caused between winding terminals of the alternating current electric motor, calculates at least either one rotation angle correction amount of a direct current component rotation angle correction amount and an alternating current component rotation angle correction amount.
