A seatbelt apparatus is provided which can constrain a passenger by ensuring removal of a slack of a lap belt when two pretensioners are activated under two different time frames. A pretensioner of a seatbelt retractor is activated first, and a shoulder belt and a lap belt are pulled in a direction toward the seatbelt retractor. Subsequently, a pretensioner of a belt anchor portion is activated and pulls a seatbelt toward the belt anchor portion, and hence a one-way tongue catches and locks the seatbelt. Accordingly, the shoulder belt is prevented from moving toward the lap belt through the tongue. Therefore, removal of the slack of the lap belt is ensured, and hence a lumber of the passenger is firmly fixed.

Seatbelt apparatus

The disclosed airbelt apparatus may provide an airbelt capable of being connected to an anchor. The airbelt apparatus may comprise an anchor and an airbelt with a bag and a mesh webbing covering the bag. The anchor may have an opening, wherein only a tip end side of a portion of the airbelt is inserted into the opening. The portion of the airbelt can be the mesh webbing only or a combination of the mesh webbing and a webbing. The portion of the airbelt inserted into the opening can be folded back so as to overlap onto a base end side of the airbelt, and the tip end side of the portion of the airbelt and the base end side of the airbelt are stitched together.

Airbelt apparatus

An occupant protection system for protecting an occupant includes a deployable body for deploying downwardly from above in a vehicle cabin into a vertically and laterally deployed state. A bag is provided to the deployable body to be inflated to a predetermined size for receiving the occupant after the deployable body deploys downwardly by a predetermined length. A gas generator is attached to the bag for inflating the bag.

To facilitate aligning and setting of a punch in a die of a press machine, a module cam assembly comprises a cam unit and an L-shaped module base. The cam unit comprises a cam driver, a cam slider equipped with a positive return to be driven by the cam driver, and a cam base holding the cam slider. The cam slider has a punch retainer on its vertical side. The L-shaped module base bears the cam unit, and is adapted to be fastened to the lower die holder. The L-shaped module base has a button die on its vertical leg in confronting relation with the punch retainer of the cam slider. This arrangement facilitates the centering and fastening of any tool to the press machine.

A passenger protecting apparatus that prevents a submarine phenomenon of the passenger by the use of an air belt that is configured to inflate to form a sleeve wall. The apparatus includes a seat cushion that includes a seat pad, and an air belt disposed under the seat pad. The apparatus includes a buckle and a lap anchor. The rear end on the right and the left of the air belt are connected to the buckle and the lap anchor via a wire respectively. Upon collision, the air belt is inflated and the front portion of the seat pad is pushed up so that a submarine phenomenon is prevented and the buckle and the lap anchor are pulled down.

The apparatus includes a buckle and a lap anchor. The rear end on the right and the left of the air belt are connected to the buckle and the lap anchor via a wire respectively. Upon collision, the air belt is inflated and the buckle and the lap anchor are pulled down to thereby pretension the seat belt.

Disclosed is an improved cam slider in a cam unit to be fixed to a stationary metal mold tool and a movable metal mold tool for machining a pressed product. The cam slider is equipped with a resilient member to allow the cam slider to return to its original position subsequent to the cam action and a counter member to the resilient member.

Disclosed is an improvement in a cam assembly for use in a pressing machine having a lower cam to be fixed to the base of the pressing machine, a spring-biased sliding cam whose front surface is allotted to fix a machining tool and a cam holder to be fixed to the upper frame of the pressing machine. The sliding cam is operatively combined with the lower cam to slide on the inclined surface of the lower cam synchronously with the rising and descending of the upper frame of the pressing machine, whereas the cam holder and the sliding cam is so combined as to leave a predetermined space defined therebetween, thereby permitting the sliding cam to be slidably held in the cam holder. The cam assembly further has a spacer to be inserted in the predetermined space and detachable fastening means to fix the sliding cam to the cam holder as if the slider were like with the upper frame of the pressing machine staying at its lower dead end. A required machining to be effected on the tool mount of the sliding cam for changing the machining tool can be advantageously effected in situ without disassembling the cam assembly.
