A fixing device for a wet type master sheet making apparatus for making a master sheet has a heated panel for fixing and drying a developed image on the master sheet while the master sheet moves on the panel, and a cleaning web placed between a surface of the panel and the master sheet to absorb extra developing liquid on the master sheet while the master sheet moves on the panel. The fixing device has web winding means for winding the web to move the web along the surface of the panel, and actuating means for selectively actuating the winding means by one of manual and electrical operations. Therefore, the user can easily and quickly tension the cleaning web to make the cleaning web tightly contact the surface of the panel by manually actuating the winding means when the cleaning web is replaced.

A fixing apparatus for a wet-type plate making machine, which includes panel heaters 13 and 14 for fixation and drying of an electrostatic latent image an a front surface of a master X after development with developing solution and a cleaning web 20 that is laid over top surfaces of the aforenamed panel heaters 13 and 14 and that will be wound around a web take-up bobbin 20B that is disposed at an end of the same panel heater 14, and which also includes a web take-up shaft 27 that has a bobbin attachment and 27a for supporting of the aforenamed web take-up bobbin 20B and a manual operation end 27b that can be turned freely with finger tips, a first one way clutch 31 that is fitted on the take-up shaft 27 and that transmits revolving movements of a clutch sleeve 31a that is reciprocally revolved by a solenoid 29 at the apparatus securing part but transmits only those in one direction to the aforenamed take-up shaft 27, and a second one way clutch 36 that in fitted on the take-up shaft 27 and that allows forced revolving movements of the aforenamed take-up shaft 27 in a taking-up direction by the aforenamed manual operation end 27b.

Substituted amine derivatives represented by the general formula ##STR1## wherein Q is --C--D--E--F--G--M-- or --N--H--I--J--K--L-- [C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K and L are each O, S, a carbonyl group, --CHR.sup.a --, --R.sup.b .dbd. or --NR.sup.c -- (R.sup.a, R.sup.b and R.sup.c are each H or a lower alkyl group), M and N are each an aromatic ring of 5-6 members optionally having a halogen, OH, LN, a lower alkyl group or a lower alkoxy group, provided that L is not O, S, or --NR.sup.c --]; R is a heterocyclic ring of 5-6 members; R.sup.1 is H, a lower alkyl group, a lower haloalkyl group, a lower alkenyl group, a lower alkynyl group or a cycloalkyl group; R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 are each H, a halogen or a lower alkyl group or two of them denote a single bond; R.sup.8 and R.sup.9 are each F, CF.sub.3 or a lower alkyl group or are a cycloalkane in combination thereof; and R.sup.10 is H, F, CF.sub.3 an acetoxy group, a lower alkyl group or a lower alkoxy group. These compounds inhibit biosynthesis of cholesterol in mammals by inhibiting their squalene epoxidase, and thereby lower their blood cholesterol values. Therefore, these compounds are expected to be effective as an agent for treatment and prophylaxis of diseases caused by excess of cholesterol, for example, obesity, hyperlipemia and arteriosclerosis and heart and encephalic diseases accompanying them.

Substituted amine derivatives represented by the general formula ##STR1## wherein Q is -C-D-E- F-G-M- or -N-H-I-J-K-L- [C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K and L are each O, S, a carbonyl group, -CHR.sup.2 -, -R.sup.b = or -NR.sup.c - (R.sup.a, R.sup.b and R.sup.c are each H or a lower alkyl group), M and N are each an aromatic ring of 5-6 members optionally having a halogen, OH, LN, a lower alkyl group or a lower alkoxy group, provided that L is not O, S, or -NR.sup.c -]; R is a heterocyclic ring of 5-6 members; R.sup.1 is H, a lower alkyl group, a lower haloalkyl group, a lower alkenyl group, a lower alkynyl group or a cycloalkyl group; R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5 R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 are each H, a halogen or a lower alkyl group or two of them denote a single bond; R.sup.8 and R.sup.9 are each F, CF.sub.3 or a lower alkyl group or are a cycloalkane in combination thereof; and R.sup.10 is H, F, CF.sub. 3 an acetoxy group, a lower alkyl group or a lower alkoxy group. [Object] A fatty acid-related polyunsaturated compound can be selectively purified using an industrially operable successive method under moderate conditions. [Content] A highly purified fatty acid-related polyunsaturated compound is obtained by a process comprising steps of forming a complex with silver on account of the high degree of unsaturation of the fatty acid-related polyunsaturated compound, isolating the complex from other fats on account of the hydrophilicity of the complex and then applying dissociating procedures to the complex to obtain the fatty acid-related polyunsaturated compound as a target substance on account of the hydrophobicity of the fatty acid-related polyunsaturated compound. As to the procedures for dissociation, addition of a dissociating agent and reduction of silver are disclosed. As to the dissociating agent, various compounds which produce insoluble composition with silver other then water are disclosed. Furthermore, an apparatus appropriately used to carry out this method is also disclosed.

Method of purifying polyunsaturated aliphatic compounds
