A lancing device includes a housing, a lancing unit capable of reciprocating relative to the housing, an elastic member for causing the lancing unit to reciprocate, and a resistance generator for applying resistance to the lancing unit in motion. The reciprocating motion of the lancing unit includes a puncture section or interval and a retreat section following the puncture section. The puncture section includes a puncture point at which a lancing element of the lancing unit can prick the skin of a human subject, for example. The resistance generator is configured to apply a greater resistance to the lancing unit in the retreat section than in the puncture section.

Lancing device

A lancet cartridge is provided with a skin contact section that is held in the interior of a lancet holder and that includes a second pricking opening. A first pricking opening is formed to a size such that a skin contact section can be accommodated therein. Upon pressing in the pricking direction, the skin contact section is accommodated in the first pricking opening, and the leading end section of a pricking member protrudes through the second pricking opening.

Lancet cartridge

A lancing device (A) includes a lancing adjustment mechanism for adjusting the lancing depth of a lancet (L) into a target portion () by operating an operation member (). The lancing adjustment mechanism is designed to provide a nonlinear relationship between the lancing depth of the lancet (L) into the target portion () and the operation amount of the operation member (). With this arrangement, it is possible to suitably adjust bleeding at the lanced portion, thereby improving the operationality of the lancing device (A).

Adjustable lancing device

The present invention provides a lancet (X) which includes a case () including an internal space (), and a lancing unit () which includes a lancing needle () and which is movable within the internal space () in an advancing direction from a wait position to an advanced position. The case () includes a main body () accommodating the lancing unit (), and a cap () which is molded integral with the main body () and detachable from the main body (). The lancing unit () includes a cover portion () for covering a portion of the lancing needle () on the advancing side, for example. The cover portion () is detachable together with the cap () by exerting a rotational force for rotating the cap () and a pulling force for causing relative movement of the cap () in the advancing direction for exposing a front end of the lancing needle ().

Lancet and lancing apparatus

A lancing device (X) comprising a first moving member () holding a lancing member () moved from a standby position to a puncturing position in a puncturing direction (N), for puncturing a target portion by the lancing member (). The lancing device (X) further comprises a second moving member () connected to the first moving member (), for controlling the movement of the first moving member () upon the movement of the second moving member, and also comprises an impact absorbing means (A) for absorbing impact that is caused when the first and the second moving members (), () come to stop on puncture operation. The impact absorbing means (A) includes an elastic member (Ab) for absorbing impact by elastic deformation.

Needle insertion device

A medical device includes a casing, a cover member that covers a portion on one-direction side of the same, and a sheet member interposed therebetween. The cover member includes on its periphery a hook part having a hook-like portion and a protrusion. The casing includes a latch part configured to engage with the hook part and a fitted portion for the protrusion to fit in. The sheet member includes an alignment part for aligning itself with the cover member. The cover member preferably has optical transparency. The casing preferably includes a recess shaped to fit with an outer shape of the cover member at a portion to be covered by the cover member.

Medical device and cover structure

A lancet device is configured for performing a puncture by mounting a lancet including a puncture needle to the tip of a puncture body holder. The lancet device has a simple configuration that makes it possible to strengthen the retaining force for retaining the lancet when the lancet is used. In the lancet device, an insertion portion of a puncture body that is inserted into a mounting portion of the puncture body holder is retained by means of the frictional force. A fastening member provided in a main body side makes contact with the outer peripheral portion of the mounting portion of the puncture body holder and inwardly fastens the mounting portion when the fastening member is moved in the puncture direction relative to the puncture body holder.

Puncture device

In order to provide a lancet which has a simple structure and which can secure safety, in particular, after use, and a lancet device including the same, a lancet () includes a casing (), and a puncture body () which is accommodated in the casing () so as to be movable in a puncturing direction. For removing the lancet () from a main body (), the lancet () has a convex portion () formed on an inner surface () of the casing () and a recessed portion (groove ()) formed on the puncture body (), which form fitting for holding the puncture body () so as to be immovable in the puncturing direction in the casing ().

Lancet and lancet device including the same

The invention provides a lancing apparatus for moving a lancet holder () retaining a lancet in a lancing direction (N) from a standby position to a lancing position together with the lancet so as to cause the lancet to stick into an object. In the lancing apparatus the lancet is inserted into the lancet holder () in a retreating direction (N), thus to be retained by the lancet holder. The lancet holder () includes a first member and a second member () relatively movable with respect to each other, so that the first and the second members (), () are relatively moved so as to fix the lancet. Preferably, the lancet holder () is constructed such that at least either of the first and the second members () applies a pressing force to the lancet, so as to fix the lancet.

A lancing apparatus that moves a lancing element in a lancing direction from a wait position to a lancing position thereby lancing an intended portion with the lancing element. The lancing apparatus has a first member which moves reciprocally in the lancing direction and in the retreating direction. A second member moves with the lancing element and performs reciprocal movement in the lancing and retreating directions in accordance with the movement of the first member.

Lancing apparatus

A lancing device according to the present invention includes: a housing; a moving body movable relatively to the housing for forward movement of a needle; a driving mechanism for forward movement of the moving body; a hollow pressing portion at a front end of the housing for contact with a part where a puncture is to be made; and a pump mechanism capable of causing a vacuum to act inside the pressing portion. The pump mechanism is capable of adjusting the vacuum. The pump mechanism includes for example: a moving portion capable of reciprocating in a first direction and a second direction away from the first direction. Preferably, the adjustment of the vacuum is made by changing the number of reciprocations of the moving part in the first and the second directions.
