In a booster cable holding structure, a resin terminal supporting portion includes a tooth-edge surrounding wall on a pressed surface thereof to be pressed by a plurality of teeth arranged in a width direction of a pressing surface of a clip in a state the clip clamps a clamping connection portion, a wall inner surface of the tooth-edge surrounding wall closely surrounds each edge of at least two of the teeth of the clip or closely surrounds the edges of the at least two teeth together.

Booster cable holding structure

The present invention is intended to provide a novel assembly for properly or accurately mounting the terminal portion of the bus bar on the terminal-accommodating portion of a body for an electric junction box without doing any harm to an electrical conduit(s) which is disposed within the electric junction box. An assembly for mounting a bus bar () to a body () for an electric junction box, comprises a hole () disposed in the bus bar (), and having a burr () created during the hole punching process; and a projection () formed in the body (), and suited for being press-fit into the hole (), wherein the projection () extends beyond the burr after being press-fit into the hole (). In this configuration, the hole () may serve as a basis for position determination of each terminal portion () of the bus bar (), and the projection () may serve as a basis for position determination of each terminal-accommodating portion () of the body (). A pair of the holes () may be spaced apart from each other in a longitudinal direction of the bus bar (), and a pair of the projections () may be correspondingly formed in the body () so as to be press-fit into the holes (). The projection () may have a plurality of press-fit ribs () extending outwardly from a peripheral surface thereof, and being approximately triangular in traverse cross-section.

Bus bar mounting assembly

An electric junction box for preventing brackets, while inclined to each other, from being fastened together, comprises a first cassette block and a second cassette block. Brackets of the first block and the second block are stacked onto each other, a bolt is passed through each of the through holes, and the blocks are fastened together. A metal collar formed tubular in nearly eclipse cross-sectional shape is also attached to inner surfaces of the through holes formed into nearly ellipse cross-sectional shape. Each of the collars is attached to each of the brackets so that long axes of the collars intersect to each other.

Electric junction box

A side cover structure of an electric connecting box includes a connecting box main body, an upper cover, and a side cover covering a side opening at the connecting box main body. The side cover includes a vertical shaft through upper and lower supporters, and the connecting box main body includes a bearing. The shaft is engaged slidably and rotatably around the bearing. The bearing includes a stopper preventing the side cover from drawing out upwardly when the side cover in closed condition is moved upwardly, and a receiver supporting the side cover higher than that in closed condition when the side cover is moved upwardly and rotated toward a direction to open. The bearing includes curved upper and lower bearings, and the upper bearing has a top end portion, and a bottom end of the top end portion acts as the stopper to abut on the lower supporter.

Side cover structure of an electric connecting box

An electric junction box for preventing rattle between cassette blocks assembled to each other before being fixed to main body case, includes a first cassette block a second cassette block configured to be assembled to each other by locking structure, an electric distribution member for distributing power to the second cassette block from the first cassette block. The electric distribution member includes an input power source line, and a pair of connectors connected with both ends of the input power source line and engaged with the lower surface of the first cassette block and the lower surface of the second cassette block, respectively. A direction of drawing the input power source line out of each of the pair of connectors is arranged perpendicular to a direction engaging the pair of connectors with the first cassette block and the second cassette block.

An electric connection box including a box main body, an integration mounted at the box main body, a pair of connection devices, and a plurality of ribs. The pair of connection devices are structured with one of connection devices provided at the integration and the other of connection devices provided at the box main body. The plurality of ribs are arranged at the box main body, and abuts on the integration and is deformed when the integration is mounted at the box main body so as to prevent rattling of the integration. Second ribs among the plurality of ribs, which are arranged close to the other of connection devices, are formed stiffer than first ribs arranged away from the other of connection devices farther than the first ribs.

Electric connection box

A structure for screw-tightening and connecting a terminal to an electrical junction box is provided. The terminal mounting structure in the electrical junction box ensures mounting operation with an insertion direction of the terminal obliquely oriented, and prevents heating of the terminal due to power supply. The terminal is secured and connected to a busbar of the junction box by a bolt, with a head and a shaft of the bolt inserted into a vertical opening and a horizontal notched hole of the terminal, respectively. A pair of opposed guiding walls are provided on a junction box body at both sides of the bolt. The guiding wall includes an entrance's side sloping surface obliquely extending from top to bottom, and a straight horizontal surface continuing to the sloping surface. The terminal includes a pair of outward projecting pieces at an upper portion to be slid on the sloping surface and the horizontal surface. A heat release portion extends integrally at an upper portion of a vertical plate portion of the terminal having the vertical opening. Linear indentations are provided on front and back surfaces of the heat release portion to be exposed outside.

Terminal mounting structure in electrical junction box

An electric junction box, which is arranged at the front in a motor vehicle, having a box body including: an electric connection block partitioned into a plurality of spaces by a plurality of partition walls, the spaces receiving respective cassette blocks and each cassette block being connected to an end of at least one electric wire; and a power supply branching block branching off electric power from a power supply, wherein the electric connection block is arranged at the front side of the motor vehicle in the electric junction box, while the power supply branching block is arranged at the rear side of the motor vehicle in the electric junction box, wherein a power supply connecting part of the power supply branching block is arranged at the rear of the electric connection block, the power supply connecting part being connected to the power supply.

A block body made of insulating synthetic resin having a terminal supporting plate in one piece therewith. A plurality of elongated ribs project on one surface of the terminal supporting plate and a rescue terminal is arranged on the other surface of the terminal supporting plate. A bus bar is mounted in the block body. A clamping portion of a booster cable can grasp both the rescue terminal and the rib at one time. The plurality of ribs are parallel to each other. The dimension of the rib is defined such that the rib is placed under compressive deformation when the rib is clamped by the clamping portion. The block body has a hole through which the rescue terminal is passed such that the rescue terminal extends along and in contact with the other surface of the terminal supporting plate.

Rescue terminal structure

An electrical junction box including a box main body and a wiring block. The box main body includes a cassette block. The wiring block includes a first bus bar, a second bus bar, and a fuse. Each bus bar includes an electric parts connecting part and the power source connecting part. The electric parts connecting part is connected to electric parts attached to the cassette block. The power source connecting part includes a fuse connecting piece and a connecting piece. A terminal fitting connected to a power source is connected to the connecting piece. The fuse connects the fuse connecting pieces of the bus bars.

Electrical junction box

For preventing incomplete lock of a terminal at lock leaves of a connection box main body, and locking the terminal smoothly and securely at the lock leaves, a terminal lock device includes a connection box main body made of insulation resin, having a surrounding wall for receiving a terminal, and a pair of flexible lock leaves in the surrounding wall. A tab of the terminal with an electric wire is structured for inserting a head of a bolt. The tab is locked at the lock leaves. The terminal is connected to a mating circuit by screwing. A cover includes projecting plates, which are respectively inserted into bending spaces for bending the lock leaves when the cover is attached at the connection box main body. A pair of wall ribs is provided adjacent to the lock leaves, and a pair of tab ribs is provided at both ends of the tab.

An electric junction box, which can be easily assembled even if the electric junction box includes an electric power distributing unit, is provided. The electric junction box includes: a box body; a busbar attached to the box body, electric power from a power supply being supplied to the busbar; an electric power distributing unit attached to the box body, the electric power being supplied to the electric power distributing unit through the busbar; and a connector section connecting the busbar to an electric power inputting section of the electric power distributing unit, the box body being provided with the connector section.
