A game controller including multiple sensors for detecting a pressure load of a user for use as an input device of a game apparatus. The game controller includes a load platform adapted to receive the pressure load of the user; a plurality of load sensors arranged in the load platform for detecting the pressure load of the user, each load sensor generating an independent detected load signal; and a connector to operationally connect the plurality of load sensors to the game apparatus for transmitting a transmission signal to the game apparatus to facilitate gameplay. The transmission signal includes the independent detected load signal of at least one load sensor such that the transmission signal includes at least one independent detected load signal corresponding to at least one load sensor of the plurality of load sensors.

A weight measuring apparatus, in which a load platform is supported by a plurality of load sensor sections and the weight of a measurement target object placed on the load platform is measured based on a load value detected by each of the plurality of load sensor sections, is supported by a support section. A torque wrench having ease of operation compatible with improved accuracy of measurement. The torque wrench includes a tightening portion, a housing having a front side cover part and a back side grip part and a shaft-like strain body that is contained inside the housing. First distortion sensors and second distortion sensors are arranged on the strain body at spaced points in the axial direction of the strain body for measuring an amount of distortion of the strain body. A microprocessor chip has functions including computation of a tightening torque which is corrected for errors due to changes in a point of effort where a tightening force is applied by a user. The correction is based on the detection result of the first distortion sensors and the second distortion sensors. An output portion outputs the corrected tightening torque measurement value.

The electrical connector according to the present invention is adapted to guide a card in the front-to-back direction thereof by left- and right-hand guides projecting from the electrical connector body. The electrical connector body incorporates a card ejecting mechanism, which comprises a swingable cam, a card pushing portion formed at the cam, and a lever connected to a mounting portion of the cam. The ejecting mechanism having the arrangement above-mentioned does not project on and under the electrical connector, thus enabling the electrical connector to be made thin and in small sizes.

The electrical connector in accordance with the present invention may be used for signal transmission/reception between a card and a circuit of a machine concerned, for example. The electrical connector has a frame to which attached are a rear structure having a card inserting/pulling port and a connector body having a contact group. Also attached to the frame are a longitudinally movable slider and a shaft having a swing fulcrum. The slider has engagement pawls adapted to be engaged with a card, and the shaft has an operating knob having a card holding portion. When the slider advances with the insertion of a card, the shaft is swung so that the operating knob is pushed out and the holding portion comes in contact with the rear end surface of the card, thereby to prevent the card from being erroneously pulled out.
