A combination weighing apparatus includes a dispersion unit, conveying units and weighing units. The dispersion unit is arranged to radially disperse product material. The conveying units are arranged around a periphery of the dispersion unit. The weighing units are arranged around a periphery of the conveying units. Each of the conveying units includes a trough. At least one of the troughs has a cross-sectional diameter that gradually increases generally from the inside end to the outside end so that the one of the troughs and an adjacent one of the troughs are kept in contact with each other from the inside ends to the outside ends. At least one of the conveying units has a spiral member disposed over a bottom surface of the trough. The spiral member is configured and arranged to convey the product material supplied from the dispersion unit toward the outside end of the trough.

The present invention provides a seasoning processing system capable of uniform seasoning and, moreover, having superior cleanability. A seasoning processing system () according to the present invention comprises a seasoning dispersion apparatus () and a vertical pillow-type bag manufacturing and packaging apparatus (). The seasoning dispersion apparatus () disperses powdered seasoning to be adhered to supplied intermediate articles (X . . . X) from an end part (), which is a dispersing mouth, of a second conduit (). The vertical pillow-type bag manufacturing and packaging apparatus () introduces and packages inside a bag shaped packaging material (Fc) seasoned articles (X. . . X) to which the powdered seasoning has been adhered. Furthermore, the end part (), which is the dispersing mouth,of the second conduit () is provided and arranged so that it is positioned inside the bag shaped packaging material (Fc). A first electrical charging mechanism is provided to charge the seasoning with a polarity and a second electrical charging mechanism is provided to a transverse sealing mechanism of the packaging material to charge the packaging material with the same polarity as the seasoning. In this manner the seasoning and the packaging material repel each other during the sealing operation.

A waterproof automatic weighing apparatus comprising a case hermetically sealed by means of sealing members, internal components lodged in this case, and external components arranged outside this case. The internal components include weight sensing elements, driving sections for opening and closing hopper gates, electromagnetic vibrator sections, and a control unit having an electrical circuit. The external components include a dispersion table, feed troughs, pool hoppers, weighing hoppers, and, as needed memory hoppers. Each of the internal components is hermetically connected to the corresponding external component.

A double-gated pool hopper is disposed above a pair of single-gated weigh hoppers such that articles in the pool hopper can be selectably discharged into either of the weigh hoppers by opening and closing the corresponding one of the two gates of the pool hopper. A single stepping motor controls the selective opening and closing of the two gates of the pool hopper by rotating in one direction or the other and another single stepping motor controls the selective opening and closing of the gates of the pair of weigh hoppers by rotating in one direction or the other.

A combinational weighing system with a plurality of article batch handling means has an article feeding means for feeding articles to be weighed into the individual article batch handling means, and after a desired combination or weights within a preselected range is determined by a computer, the article batches from the selected article batch handling means are discharged together to be made into a package. The system also includes a means for measuring the weight of the article accumulated on the article feeding means and the output signal from such a weight-measuring means is transmitted to control the operation of a conveyor for supplying the articles to the article feeding means.
