A brake fluid pressure controlling device is provided that controls a brake actuator to adjust brake fluid pressure in a wheel cylinder provided to correspond to a wheel. The brake actuator includes a passage for supplying the brake fluid to the wheel cylinder, a pump that discharges the brake fluid to the passage, and an electromagnetic valve that is located in the passage and adjusts the pressure of the brake fluid flowing into the wheel cylinder. The device includes a discharge rate detecting section, a signal generating section, a noise generating section, a noise overlaying section, and an electromagnetic valve controlling section. The discharge rate detecting section detects the discharge rate of the brake fluid discharged by the pump. The signal generating section generates a command signal for controlling the electromagnetic valve. The noise generating section generates noise, the noise being an AC signal corresponding to the detected discharge rate. The noise overlaying section overlays the noise onto the command signal, thereby generating an overlaid command signal. The electromagnetic valve controlling section controls the electromagnetic valve according to the overlaid command signal.

Brake fluid pressure controlling device

A crystal structure is provided to improve a characteristic of an electrode material, such as vanadium oxide. In the crystal structure, an amorphous state and a layered crystal state coexist at a predetermined ratio in a layered crystalline material such as vanadium oxide. In the layered crystalline material having such a layered crystal structure, layered crystal particles having a layer length Lof 30 nm or shorter are formed. Ions are easily intercalated to and deintercalated from between the layers. When such a material is used for the positive electrode active material, a nonaqueous lithium secondary battery of which the discharge capacity and the cycle characteristic are good is manufactured.

Electrode material, method of manufacturing thereof and nonaqueous lithium secondary battery

An electrode laminate unit of an electric storage device is composed of positive electrodes and negative electrodes, which are alternately laminated, and a lithium electrode arranged at the outermost part of the electrode laminate unit so as to oppose the negative electrode. A charging/discharging unit having first and second energization control units connected to a positive-electrode terminal, negative-electrode terminal, and a lithium-electrode terminal. Electrons are moved from the lithium electrode to the positive electrode through the first energization control unit, and lithium ions are doped into the positive electrode from the lithium electrode. Electrons are moved from the lithium electrode to the negative electrode through the second energization control unit, and lithium ions are doped into the negative electrode from the lithium electrode. The lithium ions are doped into both of the positive and negative electrodes, whereby the doping time can be dramatically shortened.

Electric storage device and fabricating method therefor

An object is to simplify the structure of electric wirings, and to facilitate installation. A vehicular motion quantity sensor and a steering angle sensor are installed in the same casing or mechanically connected directly with the casing. Therefore, it is possible to put together electrical wiring harnesses for transmitting the detection signals from the vehicular motion quantity sensor and the steering angle sensor to an ECU. Moreover, since all of the sensors can be located in the same compartment, the structure of the electrical wiring harnesses can be simplified and can be installed more easily.

Vehicular sensor device and vehicular stabilizing system using vehicular sensor device

A motion control apparatus for a vehicle can perform vehicle stability control. The apparatus determines that the vehicle is experiencing spin tendency when it detects a driver's specific operation that induces spin tendency and then detects a specific behavior representing spin tendency of the vehicle, and changes the conditions for initiating the vehicle stability control such that the control is initiated more easily. The specific operation may be an excessive steering operation in the turning direction or a load moving operation which increases the load acting on the front wheels. The specific behavior may be disagreement between behavior of steering angle and behavior of actual yaw rate of the vehicle. Accordingly, the occurrence of relatively slow spin tendency caused by the above 'specific operation' can be detected with certainty. Further, upon detection of spin tendency, vehicle stability control is early initiated and executed, whereby stability of the vehicle is maintained.

Motion control apparatus for vehicle

A motion control apparatus for a four-wheel drive vehicle performs over-steer suppressing control when the vehicle is in an over-steer state so as to apply a braking force to a front wheel located on the outer side of a turning locus without lowering engine output, and performs LSD control for the front/rear wheels when the obtained difference between wheel speeds of the left and right wheels exceeds an allowable limit so as to apply a braking force for suppressing idle rotation to the one of the left and right wheels that is of higher wheel speed. During execution of the over-steer suppression control, the braking force for suppressing front-wheel idle rotation to be imparted to the front wheel located on the inner side of the turning locus by means of the front-wheel-side LSD control is lowered, whereby the rear wheels become unlikely to produce excessive idle rotation.

Motion control apparatus for four-wheel drive vehicle

Driving slip rates SLi of respective wheels are calculated, and if a driving slip is excessively large is judged based on the driving slip rates SLi. Further, if a vehicle is in a predetermined turning state is judged, and if the vehicle is in an accelerating state from taking off on a road surface where a difference between coefficients of friction of the road surface with respect to the left and right wheels is large is judged. In addition, if the vehicle is in a state in which a powertrain such as a differential should be protected is judged. Fuel supply to an engine is cut until a possibility of worsening of behavior has been eliminated when the driving slip is excessively large and there is a possibility of worsening of behavior due to turning and the like, and the driving slip is reduced by reduction of driving force. Then, execution of the cutting of fuel supply is prohibited for a predetermined time after execution of the cutting of fuel supply.
