A neural network processing device includes: a convolution part which receives an input signal and a learning completion weight parameter, performs a convolution operation on the input signal and the learning completion weight parameter, and outputs a convolution signal that is a result value of the convolution operation; a batch adjustment which receives the convolution signal and a learning completion normalization parameter, and outputs an adjustment signal obtained by adjusting an output deviation of the convolution signal; and an activation part which converts the adjustment signal into an output signal based on an activation function.

Neural network processing device

A sensor controller includes a neural network processing unit to receive a sensing signal from an input sensor and to output one of a first sensing result and a second sensing result using a prediction model. The sensor controller further includes a first input processing unit and a second input processing unit. The first input processing unit is to receive the first sensing result and to determine whether a first input is present based on the first sensing result. The second input processing unit is to receive the second sensing result and to calculate a coordinate signal for a second input based on the second sensing result.

A display device includes a display panel, an input sensing layer disposed on the display panel and which outputs a sensing signal in response to an external input and an approach of an object, and a sensing controller which controls a drive of the input sensing layer and receives the sensing signal from the input sensing layer. The sensing controller includes a location sensing block which generates a location information signal including location information of the external input in response to the sensing signal, and an approach sensing block which determines whether the object approaches in response to the sensing signal and generates an approach information signal.

An image processor of a display device includes: an image sticking object detector which classifies a class of an input image data and outputs inference data including image sticking object information based on the classified class; a memory which stores previous inference data; a post-processor which calculates accumulative inference data, based on the inference data and the previous inference data received from the memory and generates corrected inference data, based on the accumulative inference data; and an image sticking prevention part which outputs an image data subjected to an image sticking prevention process, based on the corrected inference data.

Image processor, display device having the same and operation method of display device

The present disclosure describes an image processor of a display device. The image processing includes a pre-processor, a segmentation processor, and a correction processor. The pre-processor performs spatial filtering on an input image signal and output a line image signal. The segmentation processor classifies a class of the line image signal and outputting a segmentation signal representing the class. The correction processor corrects the segmentation signal based on the line image signal. Additionally, the correction processor detects a class boundary of the segmentation signal, detects an edge within an edge region of the line image signal corresponding to the class boundary, and corrects the segmentation signal based on the detected edge.

The present disclosure provides a display device that includes a preprocessor, a controller, and a display panel. The preprocessor includes an area determiner outputting area data, a modulator outputting modulated data, and a synthesizer converting first image data and outputting second image data including the area data and the modulated data.

Display device and method of preventing afterimage thereof

Disclosed is an image processor of a display device including a segmentation processing module classifying a background and a text of an image signal and outputting a segmentation signal, a class classification processing module outputting a class signal based on the segmentation signal, a memory storing broadcast information signals, a correction processing module correcting an image signal based on the segmentation signal and a broadcast information signal corresponding to the class signal among the broadcast information signals and outputting a correction segmentation signal, and a data signal output module preventing an afterimage of the image signal based on the correction segmentation signal and outputting a data signal.

The present disclosure provides a display device. The display device includes a controller and a display panel displaying an image. The controller includes a detector, a compensator, and a converter. The detector separates image data into first image data corresponding to a first image recognized as a non-afterimage component and second image data corresponding to a second image recognized as an afterimage component using a pre-trained deep neural network. The compensator outputs a compensation signal to control a luminance value of the second image data. The converter converts the first image data to first converted image data and converting the second image data to second converted image data based on the compensation signal.

An image data processing device of the inventive concept includes an image data converter and a light emission amount calculator. The image data converter converts image data into modulation image data. The image data includes first to third data corresponding to the first to third colors, respectively. The modulation image data includes first to fourth modulation data corresponding to the first to fourth colors, respectively. The light emission amount calculator calculates the fourth modulation data based on the ratio between the first data and the second data. The fourth color includes a color based on mixing the first color and the second color.

Image data processing device and display device including the same

A display device includes a controller that generates first and second sub-frame image signals based on a frame image signal. The first and second sub-frame image signals respectively correspond to sub-frames. The controller includes a filter, a signal generator, and a signal output. The filter outputs a high frequency image signal, obtained by increasing a high frequency component in the frame image signal, and a low frequency image signal obtained by decreasing the high frequency component in the frame image signal. The signal generator generates an excess signal from a portion of the high frequency image signal having a grayscale value equal to or greater than a maximum allowable grayscale value. The signal output selectively outputs the first sub-frame image signal based on the excess signal and the high frequency image signal and the second sub-frame image signal based on the excess signal and the low frequency image signal.

An image signal processing apparatus includes an adder to add an input data signal of a present frame to a cumulative data signal of a previous frame to output a cumulative data signal, an analyzing block to analyze a processing range of the cumulative data signal, a processing block to process the cumulative data signal based on the processing range to output a processed data signal, an encoding block to compress the processed data signal to output an encoded data signal, a memory to store the encoded data signal and the processing range, a decoding block to decode the encoded data signal read out from the memory to output a decoded data signal, and an inverse processing block to inversely process the decoded data signal based on the processing range to output an output data signal.
