A lever switch with an improved operation feeling includes a clicking surface of a click feeling generator that abuts with an end portion of a switch moving body turning about a turn fulcrum in response to an operation of an operation lever, and generates a click feeling by causing a reaction force against the operation of the operation lever. A region of the clicking surface forms a shape of a curved face convex toward the turn fulcrum, where the region ranges between a first position where the reaction force starts to decrease from a peak reaction force and a second position where the reaction force becomes zero, in a stroke in which the switch moving body turns from a first angle to a second angle. The radius of curvature of the region is a maximum at a portion adjoining the first position in the region.

Lever switch mounted on vehicle

A vehicular light switch can change the mode of an exterior-illuminating light by rotating to different positions including an auto setting and a SMALL setting. If the position of the vehicular light switch is rotated to the SMALL setting, a momentary mechanism returns the position to the auto setting. If extravehicular brightness is less than a prescribed value and the position is rotated to the SMALL setting whilst the vehicle is stationary, a first light controller turns off a low-beam light, and turns on the low-beam light if the vehicle runs afterwards. If extravehicular brightness is less than a prescribed value and the position is rotated to the SMALL setting while the vehicle is running, a second light controller keeps the low-beam light turned on.

In an auto cancel mechanism for a turn signal switch device, a click stop mechanism includes a click feeling-generating body formed from an elastic material and supported on a switch case, and a click pin supported on a switch actuator and resiliently pressed against the click feeling-generating body. Since the click feeling-generating body is formed integrally with an elastic stopper part disposed between a guide pin and a front end of a guide groove, the guide pin collides with the elastic stopper part without colliding with the front end of the guide groove, and noise generated by the collision is reduced. Moreover, since the elastic stopper part is formed integrally by utilizing the click feeling-generating body, it is possible to suppress an increase in the number of components and the number of assembly steps.

Auto cancel mechanism for turn signal switch device

In a switch unit which is equipped with a seesaw switch and a rotary switch, the seesaw switch and the rotary switch are arranged in a manner so that an axis of a swing fulcrum, i.e., swing shaft, of a knob, and an axis of a rotary shaft of a wheel intersect one another.

In a four-direction switch device, an outer peripheral surface of a disc-shaped switch knob is provided with first to fourth pivot projections arranged in phase with first to fourth switch operation parts and first to fourth movable stoppers arranged with a phase shift by 45&#xb0; from the projections, respectively, and a switch case is provided with first to fourth fixed stoppers facing lower surfaces of the movable stoppers, respectively. If the knob is pushed at a switch dead part, the knob swings about a straight line connecting a pair of the pivot projections located on an opposite side of the switch dead part, but the movable stopper and the fixed stopper both located below the pushed switch dead part come into contact with each other, thereby avoiding actuation of any switch.

Four-direction switch device

A vehicle turn signal switch device whereby the production of knocking sounds by a cancellation pin when a steering wheel is turned in the direction of a turn signal is suppressed. A turn signal switch includes a fixed member and a movable plate. The cancellation pin, which is supported by the fixed member and the movable plate such that the cancellation pin can swing and move forward and backward relative to a cancellation cam, includes a sliding-contact surface that is in sliding contact with the fixed member. The cancellation pin is biased by a return spring in the direction of the cancellation cam and in the direction of the sliding contact of the sliding-contact surface with the fixed member.

Vehicle turn signal switch device

A switch unit includes an operating component, and a base portion that supports the operating component capable of being pressed in criss-cross directions. The base portion is provided with a plurality of T-shaped regulating components that are formed in positions in directions sandwiched between the criss-cross directions. Each of the regulating components is provided with a leg portion that extends from the base portion towards the operating component, and an abutting portion that extends from an end portion of the leg portion along a line that connects together predetermined positions of the criss-cross directions that are located on both sides of each regulating component.
