A lens shape measurement device, includes: a rotation unit that rotates a lens supported by a stage; a laser displacement meter; a first moving unit that moves the laser displacement meter in a X-direction; a second moving unit that moves the lens in a Y-direction; and a drive controller that controls a drive of the rotation unit, the first moving unit, and the second moving unit in a mirror reflection state in which an incidence angle of the laser beams incident on a measurement target from the laser displacement meter, and a reflection angle of the laser beams reflected by the measurement target are equal to each other with a normal line of the lens passing through the measurement target set as a reference, for each of a plurality of measurement targets set on an edge of the lens in a rotating direction of the lens.

A coating device () for a coating solution and a light beam radiating device () which cures the coating solution are arranged in a clean room (). Spectacle lenses () include a set of two lenses and are stored in a coating container (). The coating device () applies the coating solution to coating target surfaces of the spectacle lenses () in the coating container (). When the set of two spectacle lenses () coated with the coating solution are extracted from the coating container (), they are stored in a lens rack () and sealed by a transparent plate of the light beam radiating device (). After air in the lens rack () is purged with nitrogen gas, curing treatment for the coating solution is performed by the light beam radiating device ().

This apparatus includes a unit for adhering an elastic seal to a lens holder, a unit for causing the lens holder, to which the elastic seal is adhered, to hold a lens, a pivotal arm, an arm driving unit for pivoting the pivotal arm, a clamp unit attached to the pivotal arm to be vertically movable to hold the lens holder, and a clamp driving unit for vertically moving the clamp unit. This method is carried out in a heating furnace having a frame section having the shape of a cube or rectangular parallelepiped, a heating section provided within the frame section, and an insertion port for inserting the lens provided on the bottom surface of the frame section. All or a part of the lens is inserted from the insertion port into a furnace inside of the heating furnace from the lower portion of the heating furnace and heated.

The method comprising (1) the step of measuring a lens in which the optical properties and the reference position of the spectacle lens are measured and (2) the step of processing in which the lens is processed based on the optical information obtained in the step of measuring a lens. In the step of measuring a lens, the optical properties of the lens, such as the prism value, are measured using a desirable position selected as on the uncut lens as the position of measurement. An an optical reference position, such as the optical center, is calculated, a guiding mark is placed at the calculated position the relationship between the mark and the optical reference position is used in subsequent cut processing.

An apparatus for and process of attaching a lens holder to an uncut lens for a spectacle lens which enables efficient attachment of the lens holder at a position without the processing interference when the lens holder is attached to a progressive multifocal lens or a multifocal lens. The lens holder can be attached to the uncut lens at a position set outside of a range of processing interference when the positions of hidden marks or an edge of a segment are obtained by inputting and processing an image of the uncut lens by the apparatus for image processing, the obtained positions of the hidden marks or the edge of the segment, data of the spectacle frame and lens holder buildup area shape are processed and the lens holder is attached to the uncut lens.

Apparatus for and method of attaching a lens holder to a spectacle lens, and a method for producing a lens

A spectacle lens image sensing processing apparatus irradiates the convex surface of a lens to be examined with light from a light source, projects an image of the convex surface onto a reflection screen placed on the concave surface side of the lens. The apparatus senses the image of the convex surface, projected on the reflection screen, by using an image sensing unit, and performs image processing for the image of the convex surface sensed by the image sensing unit by using an image processing unit, thereby detecting optical characteristics of the lens. The image sensing unit is placed together with the light source on the convex surface side of the lens. The image of the convex surface of the lens is reflected by the reflection screen to return to the convex surface side of the lens, thereby forming the image on the image sensing unit. A spectacle lens positioning method is also disclosed.
