A method of packaging medical supplies includes overlapping a front film onto a back film, at least one of the front and back film being transparent and bacteria impermeable and does not transmit molecules as large as or larger than O2, extending a material that is gas permeable and bacteria impermeable along an opening side of at least one of the front and back film, and sealing the periphery of the front and back films except for the opening to form a packaging bag; inserting medical supplies in the packaging bag and then sealing the bag; sterilizing an interior of the packaging bag with EO gas injected through the material that is gas permeable and bacteria impermeable, removing the gas after sterilization and drying; and sealing the packaging bag so that the material that is gas permeable and bacteria impermeable does not communicate with the inside of the packaging bag.

Method for packaging medical supplies

A medical knife which maintains low penetration resistance, without the maximum-width parts of the medical knife creating sudden changes in penetration resistance even when passing through tissue. Knife includes a pointed tip, a cutting part which has edges having first oblique faces which are formed along the outer periphery, and second oblique faces which are formed inside the first oblique faces. Maximum-width parts are formed contiguously with the cutting part. A shank part is formed contiguously with the maximum-width parts. The cutting part is formed in such a way that the shape of the planar projection thereof becomes wider from the pointed tip towards the maximum-width parts, and the first oblique faces extend further towards the shank part side than the second oblique faces over at least one portion of the area running from the maximum-width parts to the shank part.

Medical knife

Provided is a medical knife which makes it possible to maintain low penetration resistance, without the maximum-width parts of the medical knife creating sudden changes in penetration resistance even when passing through tissue. A knife comprises: a pointed tip; a cutting part which has edges consisting of first oblique faces which are formed along the outer periphery and second oblique faces which are formed inside the first oblique faces; maximum-width parts; and a shank part which is formed contiguously with the maximum-width parts. The cutting part is formed in such a way that the shape of the planar projection thereof becomes wider from the pointed tip towards the maximum-width parts, and the first oblique faces extend further towards the shank part side than the second oblique faces over at least one portion of the area running from the maximum-width parts to the shank part.

[Problems] To ensure the sharpness of a stripping knife whereby a part of a living tissue is incised and stripped while preventing a cut along the thickness direction. [Means for Solving Problems] A stripping knife (A) having a plate-shaped blade () having an edge () around the periphery, a shank () connected to the blade (), and a handle () holding the shank () in the integrated state, wherein the blade () is composed of the edge () formed at the front end and a guide face () which is formed between the edge () and the front face () of the connected plate constituting the blade () and brought into contact with the surface () of the remaining tissue.

Stripping knife

A crimping die including a fixed die and a moving die which moves away from or toward the fixed die, and a thread guide arranged closely to the edge of the stop hole formed in the proximal end face of an eyeless needle held by the crimping die and having a surface for guiding the suture thread to the stop hole. The thread guide is arranged such that an external force does not act on the suture thread on the outside of the stop hole formed in the eyeless needle as a crimping operation progresses when the proximal end face of the eyeless needle is crimped by the crimping die, or arranged to move in the direction in which an external force does not act.

A workmade of a hard wire rod of austenitic stainless steel is pressed at a rolling reduction of 60% or greater, into a paddle-shaped end, and then subjected to work hardening, making the hardness of the end550 Hv or greater. Afterwards, the paddle-shaped endis cut through machining, forming a main bodyof a medical knife and cutting blades. As a result, a medical knife, which is easily fabricated, is corrosion resistant, has sufficient hardness and sharpness, high toughness preventing cracks, can be provided.

A medical knife of the invention having a cutting edge formed along the outer periphery of a blade portion includes a shank; and a blade portion formed continuously from the shank, the blade portion includes a tip portion including a tip whose projected plane shape is formed at an extreme end portion; a maximum width portion having a largest width: a side surface portion formed between the tip portion and the maximum width portion; a cutting edge; a first slanting surface formed along the cutting edge; and a second slanting surface formed along the first slanting surface, wherein the first slanting surface constituting the tip portion has a width larger than that of the first slanting surface constituting the side surface.

A medical knife has a cutting edge formed along the outer edge of a blade portion, and the thickness of the lower portion located under a boundary acting as a surface including the cutting edge is made thinner than that of an upper portion located on the boundary, or a lower surface is composed of the surface including the cutting edge. The surface of the upper portion on the above surface including the cutting edge is composed of a first slanting surface constituting the cutting edge, a second reflecting surface, and a flat surface composed of a non-reflecting surface as well as the lower portion has a lower slanting surfaceand a lower flat surfaceeach composed of a reflecting surface. With the above arrangement, the medical knife can reduce the amount of reflected light when an operation such as an ophthalmic operation is executed under a microscope.

The present invention relates to an ophthalmologic knife for being guided into an incision formed at an eyeball and for widening the width of the incision, the ophthalmologic knife comprising a handle and a blade portion having a flat shape formed at a end portion of the handle. The blade portion is formed with cutting edges arranged on both sides in a narrowing manner toward a front tip of the blade portion, and the front tip of the blade portion is formed with a guide portion arranged between the two cutting edges for guiding the blade portion into the incision formed at the eyeball.

Ophthalmologic knife

The present invention relates to a medical scalpel for incising a spherical biological tissue comprising a shank and a planar blade portion integrated with the shank. The planar blade portion has a first face and a second face opposed in parallel as a whole with each other. The planar blade portion has a pointed end to thereby show a reverse-V profile and has, on both sides of such pointed end, an edge in parallel as a whole with the first face and the second face, the blade portion being formed so as to have a ratio of the partial thickness thereof on one side of a virtual flat plane surrounded by said edge to the total thickness thereof within a range of from 75 to 93%.
