A vehicle seat includes: plural airbags for massaging that are provided at least at an interior of a seatback, and that inflate to push against portions of a body of a seated vehicle occupant; an air supplying/discharging device that has a forced-air source that feeds air under pressure, and a control valve that supplies and discharges the air, that has been fed under pressure from the forced-air source, to the plural airbags respectively, so that the air supplying/discharging device inflates and contracts the plural airbags individually; and an electronic control unit that, in a state in which the forced-air source is operated, repeats, at a uniform cycle, supplying and discharging of the air by switching of the control valve, to generate awakening vibrations at least at one airbag among the plural airbags.

A blowing control apparatus for a seat, that includes a blower, and an air hole that is provided in a seating surface and through which air blown from the blower passes, also includes a measuring portion that measures a rotation speed or a current value of the blower as a blower measurement value, and a control portion that determines a degree to which the air hole is obstructed according to the blower measurement value measured by the measuring portion, and controls rotation of the blower by a driving voltage of the blower based on the degree.

Blowing control apparatus for seat and vehicle seat provided therewith

A heater control unit controls electric power supplied to a heater provided in a seat. The heater control unit includes an outside air temperature measuring portion that measures an outside air temperature, a seat surface temperature measuring portion that measures a surface temperature of the seat, and a control portion. The control portion controls a time for which an initial electric power larger than an electric power in a steady state after the initial state is output to the heater, according to the measured outside air temperature and the measured seat surface temperature in an initial state immediately after the heater is activated.

Heater control unit and vehicle seat heater

A seat for reducing looseness of a seated posture in the entirety of the body. In connection with a load peak position of the pelvis of a seated occupant as detected by a pelvis displacement sensor disposed in the seat cushion of a seat, a control device compares an initial peak position and a peak position after displacement. At the same time, the control device detects a shoulder blade position from load distribution of the chest of the seated occupant, detected by a chest displacement detecting sensor disposed in the upper portion of a seat back, and compares an initial position detected in advance and an after-displacement position. Next, the control device moves the seating position of a seat cushion in a direction to eliminate dislocation between the initial peak position and the after-displacement peak position, and moves the upper portion of the seat back in a direction to eliminate dislocation between the initial position and the after-displacement position of the shoulder blade of the seated occupant.
