The present invention inhibits the occurrence of the foreign matters attributable to an adhesive for bonding an injection needle to a needle-base member so as to enhance the yield of a syringe when producing the same. A front-assembly () additionally provided at a leading end of an injection cylinder () comprises an injection needle (), a needle-base member (), a connection hub () and a protector cap (). The injection needle () and the needle-base member () are fixed to each other with an epoxy adhesive (). This adhesive () contains denatured aliphatic epoxy resin in the amount set to about 10 to about 25 wt % and its viscosity is set to about 20000 to about 40000 mPa&#xb7;s. This adhesive () is heated at a temperature of at least 130 degrees C. for about 20 minutes to cure it. After the front-assembly () and the injection cylinder () have been sterilized with vapor, the connection hub () has a connection portion () external fitted and secured to the leading end of the injection cylinder ().

Adhesive for injection needle, a method for bonding injection needle, a syringe front-assembly and a syringe

A dual-chamber type prefilled syringe comprises a cylindrical body within which a front plug member, a middle plug member and an end plug member are hermetically fitted to form a first chamber and a second chamber. The cylindrical body has an inner surface formed with a bypass. When the middle plug member moves to a position where the bypass is formed, the first chamber is communicated with the second chamber for the first time via the bypass. In this beginning state of liquid transfer (S), an inner volume (VS) of the cylindrical body between a leading end of the cylindrical body and a rear end of the front plug member is set to be at least 60% of a volume (VC) of a second component. When liquid component within the second chamber flows into the first chamber, it is possible to prevent part of the liquid component from passing through the first chamber to reach a portion for attaching an injection needle at a leading end of the cylindrical body.

Two-chamber-type pre-filled syringe

A bypass type prefilled syringe has a tubular body formed with a bypass for establishing communication between front and rear compartments for preliminarily storing medicament and pharmaceutical liquid, respectively. A gasket for dividing interior space of the tubular body into the front and rear compartments includes a plurality of circumferential ribs . A plurality of annular recesses are each formed between neighboring ones of the circumferential ribs. First and second axial slots are formed on the circumferential ribs so as to define a bent outflow path for the pharmaceutical liquid at the time of communication between the front and rear compartments via the bypass.

Gasket for bypass type prefilled syringe

A prefilled syringe has a tubular body which has an open front end and an open rear end. A front assembly is mounted on an outer periphery of a front end portion of the tubular body. A finger grip is mounted on an outer periphery of a rear end portion of the tubular body. A front sealing member is provided in the tubular body so as to be disposed forwardly of injection liquid and a rear sealing member is provided in the tubular body so as to be disposed rearwards of the injection liquid. A plunger rod is provided so as to be movable in the tubular body. A temporary stop member temporarily stops the plunger rod through retention of the temporary stop member by the finger grip such that the rear sealing member is temporarily stopped at a predetermined position of the tubular body. A retention canceling member cancels the retention of the temporary stop member by the finger grip without moving the plunger rod.

Prefilled syringe

A two-compartment type prefilled syringe includes a first rubber stopper fitted into a front sleeve, a second rubber stopper fitted into a rear end portion of a cartridge, a third rubber stopper for hermetically dividing the interior of the cartridge into front and rear compartments and a bypass formed by radially outwardly bulging a portion of a peripheral wall of the cartridge. In an axial direction of the cartridge, a length of the third rubber stopper is slightly smaller than an inner length of the bypass. When the third rubber stopper has been displaced into the bypass, the sealing property of the rear compartment with the front compartment is cancelled such that the dissolving agent, suspension or the like in the rear compartment is carried, via the bypass, into the front compartment containing dry medicament or the like. A ratio of a maximum width of one end of the bypass adjacent to the front sleeve to a maximum width of the other end of the bypass adjacent to the rear end portion of the cartridge is set to range from 1.2 to 5.0.
