An ink ejection device includes a head section having a plurality of nozzles and ejecting a plurality of types of inks through the nozzles, and an ink supply section supplying the plurality of types of inks to the head section. The head section has a plurality of supply ports which are arranged in a scanning direction and to which the plurality of types of inks are supplied. The ink supply section includes a plurality of ink chambers which respectively contain the plurality of types of inks and are disposed to overlap one another in the up-down direction, a plurality of connection passages connecting the plurality of supply ports to the plurality of ink chambers containing the inks to be supplied to the supply ports, and a plurality of air discharge passages respectively connected to the plurality of ink chambers.

An image forming apparatus includes a conveying device; a fixing device; and a controller. The controller is configured to perform: in response to determining that a first condition is met, starting sheet conveyance by the sheet conveying device upon expiration of a first predetermined period of time starting from receipt of a print instruction; and in response to determining that a second condition different from the first condition is met, starting sheet conveyance by the sheet conveying device at selective one of a first timing and a second timing. The second timing is selected upon determination that an accumulated amount of usage of the fixing device is not greater than a predetermined amount. The first timing is a timing at which a sensed temperature has reached a first threshold value. The second timing is a timing at which a second predetermine period of time has expired after the first timing.

An ink ejection device includes: a head section ejecting a plurality of kinds of inks; and an ink supply section supplying the plurality of kinds of inks to the head section. The ink supply section includes: two outlet ports which are separated from each other in a first direction intersecting with a vertical direction and through which a first kind of ink among the plurality of kinds of inks is supplied toward the head section; and an air-trap chamber in communication with the two outlet ports. The air-trap chamber protrudes to one side of a second direction intersecting with the vertical direction and the first direction relative to the two outlet ports. A portion connecting the two outlet ports of the air-trap chamber has an arc shape in a plane containing the first direction and the second direction or a bent portion of the portion connecting the two outlet ports of the air-trap chamber has an obtuse angle in the plane.
