A facility inspection system prevents a normal part from being detected as an abnormal part caused by a deviation in an alignment due to a presence/absence of a moving object in detecting the abnormal part in a surrounding environment of a vehicle moving on a track. The system includes a photographing device, storage device, separation unit, an alignment unit, and a extraction unit. The photographing device photographs the surrounding environment of the moving vehicle. The storage device stores a reference alignment point cloud and a reference difference-extraction point cloud for each position on the track. The separation unit separates the alignment point cloud from a three-dimensional point cloud. The alignment unit aligns the reference alignment point cloud and the alignment point cloud and outputs alignment information. The extraction unit extracts a difference between the three-dimensional point cloud deformed based on the alignment information and the reference difference-extraction point cloud.

Each of two redundant switch sections has a high-priority queue and a low-priority queue for each of output ports. A high-priority output selector selects one of two high-priority queues corresponding to respective ones of the two switch sections to store an output of the selected one into a high-priority output queue. A low-priority output selector selects one of two low-priority queues corresponding to respective ones of the two switch sections to store an output of the selected one into a low-priority output queue. The high-priority and low-priority output selectors are controlled depending on a system switching signal and a packet storing status of each of the high-priority and low-priority queues.

Switch, scheduler thereof, and switch scheduling method

A digital switching system capable of changing switching capacity without any recourse of increasing or decreasing the quantities of line terminals or cross-point switches. The digital switching system comprises line terminals which send and receive data as serial data to and from the user, a switching arrangement which switches, based on destination information, the parallel data converted from the serial data, and data converters capable of converting between the serial data and the parallel data at a specified conversion ratio. The serial/parallel converter circuit of a serial/parallel converter in a digital switching system comprises a 1:4 transceiver, four variable converters, and 16 selector circuits The 1:4 transceiver converts serial data into 4-bit wide parallel data and sends the parallel data to the variable converters. If mode selection information specifies a conversion ratio of 1:4, only a tristate buffer is enabled and 4-bit wide parallel data is output. When the conversion ratio is 1:8 or 1:16, only a tristate buffer is enabled, respectively, and 8-bit wide or 16-bit wide parallel data is output, respectively.

Digital switching system

A packet accounting machine has a packet detector that detects a packet read source and destination addresses, a port number and the number of bytes included in the packet and transfers them to a flow processing unit. A flow processing unit acquires a flow identifier, sending and receiving accounting coefficients and sends them together with the number of bytes in the packet to a flow counter control unit. The flow counter control unit adds the number of bytes to the number of bytes included in packets stored in a flow counter and instructs the flow counter to store the sending and receiving accounting coefficients. An accounting calculator reads the number of bytes in the packets, the sending and receiving accounting coefficients from the flow counter, calculates accounting on the sending and receiving sides and records them in the accounting recorder.

Disclosed is an ATM switch which comprises: an ATM switch unit; a switch control unit for controlling the ATM switch unit; one or more circuit accommodation units for connecting the switch with one or more external ATM networks, respectively, and an IP routing process unit for routing IP packets in a form of ATM cells. In the ATM switch, the IP routing process unit may comprise: a cell storage unit having a plurality of memories; a distributing means for distributing the ATM cells received from the ATM switch unit to the plurality of memories while grouping the ATM cells into each of the plurality of memories in accordance with an IP packet to which each of the ATM cells belongs; sending means for sending all the ATM cells belonging to an identical IP packet when the all the ATM cells belonging to the identical IP packet have been stored in respective one of the plurality of memories; and means for converting VPI/VCI (Virtual Path Identifier/ Virtual Channel Identifier) of the all the ATM cells belonging to the identical IP packet.

Network server redundancy configuration method and system

A network server includes LAN terminating units, an ATM terminating unit, a data transfer unit, a multiple identifier check section, and a connection determination section. The LAN terminating units are connected to LAN terminals constituting virtual LAN segments and terminate protocols on the LAN MAC sublayer. The ATM terminating unit is connected to an ATM network and terminates the AAL and the ATM protocol. The data transfer unit transfers received data to one of the LAN terminating units and the ATM terminating unit in correspondence with the destination MAC address obtained from data received by the LAN terminating units and the ATM terminating unit. The multiple identifier check section checks at least the Ethernet type in the SNAP of the received data. When the data is transferred from the data transfer unit to the ATM terminating unit, the connection determination section determines an ATM connection to which the data is to be transmitted, on the basis of a set of the destination MAC address and the destination IP subnetwork address, obtained from the received data, and an identifier including at least the Ethernet type detected by the multiple identifier check section, and notifies the ATM terminating unit of the determined ATM connection.
