There is provided an automotive interior component including an impact absorber mounted to an interior side of a side wall panel of a vehicle, and the shape and structure of the impact absorber that can undergo buckling deformation and absorb an impact load in a side collision are improved to increase an impact absorbing function. The impact absorbermounted on a back surface of an impact area IA in the automotive interior component (door trim)is formed as a hollow box body having an openingon one side and a bottom surface wallon the other side, and improvement such as providing corner cut portionsat four corner portions of the bottom surface wall, forming a chamfered portionat a corner portion of a side wall, or forming a cam groove portion, a triangular rib, or an inner surface ribis made to adjust a reaction force in a side collision to increase an impact absorbing function.

Automotive interior component

The laminated structure includes a lightweight and shape-retaining foamed resin base member, an outer circumference frame integrally laminated on the reverse side of the foamed resin base member along the outer circumference of an article, and bridging ribs connecting between respective points on the outer circumference frame. Accordingly, the present invention provides a lightweight laminated structure with low cost by reducing the amount of the resin used, since the molded synthetic resin outer circumference frame and bridging ribs have small projection areas.

Laminated structure and method for manufacturing the same

A solenoid valve includes a moving part, a plunger of magnetic material having one end facing an end face of the moving part, and a protrusion formed at the one end of the plunger and abutting on the end face of the moving part. During energization, a magnetic path is formed from a valve body to the moving part to produce an attraction force between the valve body and the moving part across a clearance. Magnetic flux running along the magnetic path becomes saturated at the protrusion.

Solenoid valve

An apparatus for facilitating securing a component to a stationary bracket, including a mount recess formed in the component, a mount hole formed in the bracket, a sleeve fixed to the mount recess through an elastic bushing, a bolt extending through the mount hole and engaged in the sleeve, a projection positioned on the sleeve, and a guide provided on the bracket. The projection and the guide cooperate to align a threaded bore of the sleeve with the mount hole of the bracket when the component is mounted to the bracket.

Apparatus for facilitating securing a component to a stationary bracket

A pump device includes main and auxiliary eccentric portions integrated with a motor output shaft on the side of its base end and on the side of its pointed end. The main eccentric portion is larger in diameter than the auxiliary eccentric portion. A needle roller bearing and a ball bearing are fitted to the outer peripheries of the eccentric portions. Main and auxiliary pumps include a pair of plungers which abut on the outer peripheries of the bearings, respectively, and are driven by the main and auxiliary eccentric portions.

Pump devices

In a method for molding a laminated assembly comprising a resin core member, and a surface skin member either partly or entirely placed over the surface of the resin core member, the dimensional precision of a part of the surface skin member involving a high rate of extension is improved, and the cushioning property and the surface quality of this part are avoided from being impaired. An approximately molded portion is defined in a part of the surface skin member involving a relatively high rate of extension during the vacuum molding process using a vacuum molding die assembly, and the thus molded surface skin member is mounted on the upper die for mold press forming with a gap defined between the approximately molded portion or an unmolded portion and the associated die surface. During the mold press forming process, the pressure of the semi-molten resin material molds the surface skin member into its final shape so that the molding precision of the part of the surface skin member involving a high rate of extension can be improved. In particular, when the surface skin member is lined with a foamed lining layer, damage to the foamed lining layer of the surface skin member during the process of mold press forming is minimized.

Method for molding a laminated assembly

In a method and die assembly device for molding a laminated assembly comprising a resin core member and a surface skin member covering a part of the surface of the resin core member, the shifting and creasing of the surface skin member is avoided, the molding precision is increased during the mold press forming process, and the external appearance of the assembly is improved. By providing an outer peripheral groove in the die surface of the upper die for mold press forming along the outer periphery of the cavity of the upper die, and relatively large vacuum suction holes in this outer peripheral groove while providing relatively small vacuum suction holes inside the cavity, in particular in recessed parts thereof corresponding to the corners of the product, the surface skin member can be retained to the upper die when mounting the surface skin member on the upper die in both secure and well sealed manner so that the surface skin member would not shift or crease during the mold press forming process, and, therefore, the molding precision can be improved.

A solenoid valve for a antilock brake system comprises an electromagnetic coil part disposed on a housing, and a valve function part clearance-fitted in the electromagnetic coil part and hermetically received in a bore of the housing.

Solenoid valves for antilock brake system

A unit comprises a valve housing having a bottom portion; and a plurality of electromagnetic valves standing on the bottom of the valve housing. Each electromagnetic valve includes a coil which is housed in a housing structure. A cover member is put on head portions of the electromagnetic valves. A bolt extends from the cover member to the bottom portion of the valve housing to bias the cover member toward the bottom portion of the valve housing thereby to tightly fix the electromagnetic valves to the valve housing. A printed-circuit board is positioned above the cover member. Bracket portions for supporting the printed circuit board extend upward from the housing structure toward the printed-circuit board while keeping away from a lateral end of the cover member. Conductive lines are embedded in each bracket portion to provide an electric connection between each coil and the circuit of the printed-circuit board.

In an arrangement having a plurality of solenoid valves disposed between a housing and a housing cover, the cover being attached to the housing by bolts, collar members are disposed around the bolts, and between the housing and the housing cover.

Solenoid valves

A pressure control device for a hydraulic braking system of an automotive vehicle is provided with a master cylinder for pressurizing hydraulic fluid according to a braking action of a driver. A wheel cylinder for applying braking force to a wheel is communicated with the master cylinder through a main passage. An accumulator is connected to the main passage. A rotating condition of the wheel is detected by a detector and is outputted as a signal indicative of the rotating condition of the wheel. A hydraulic pressure controller is arranged to control the wheel cylinder hydraulic pressure when the detector detects one of a lock condition and a slippage condition. The hydraulic pressure controller is communicated with the main passage. A switching device is arranged to stop the communication between the master cylinder and the hydraulic pressure controller, and open the communication between the accumulator and the hydraulic pressure controller when the detector detects the slippage condition in acceleration. Therefore, during the slippage control in acceleration, the hydraulic fluid stored in the hydraulic pressure controller is returned to the main passage owing to the pressure difference therebetween.

Pressure control device for hydraulic braking system

A hydraulic pump of the rotary vane type comprises a first throttle bore and a second throttle bore disposed in parallel between a pressure chamber of the pump and a delivery passage, and a variable flow throttle valve is provided which is responsive to a difference between a vane back-up pressure and a pressure within the delivery passage to vary an opening degree of the first throttle bore.

Hydraulic pump for power-assisted steering system

A rotary-vane pump has a pump outlet, a pressure chamber of the pump, a flow control valve, and a throttle disposed between the pump outlet and the flow control valve. According to the present invention, the throttle is formed by an insert which is disposed in a pressure passage between the pump outlet and the flow control valve. Specifically, the pressure passage is disposed between the pump outlet and the pressure chamber, and the insert is hollow cylindrical and has an axial bore having one axial end portion disposed on the pressure passage. The insert is disposed in the pressure passage at an angle approximately 90.degree. in relation to the inflow direction of pressure medium in the passage.

Rotary-vane pump

A vane pump is disclosed, which comprises a body structure defining a space which has mutually opposed surfaces; a cam ring tightly disposed in the space; a rotor having a plurality of radially extending vane mounting grooves and rotatably disposed in the cam ring having both sides thereof slidably contacting with the opposed surfaces of the body structure; and a plurality of vanes slidably disposed in the vane mounting grooves in such a manner that heads of the vanes slidably contact with an inner surface of the cam ring. In the invention, the rotor is formed at at least one side thereof with a throttle groove to which bottom portions of the vane mounting grooves are exposed.

In a variable displacement vane-type rotary compressor, a rotational displacement of an adjust member relative to a front member fixedly closing a front end of a cam ring varies a compression starting point of a rotary vane in a working chamber formed in the cam ring. The front member is formed with an induction port and a bypass port, and the adjust member is formed with a bypass recess. The induction port and the bypass recess are in communication with each other in the working chamber irrespective of a position of the vane under all of the rotational displacement of the adjust plate to establish a communication between the induction port and the bypass port in the working chamber irrespective of the position of the vane when the bypass port overlaps with the bypass recess.
