A brake control device includes an electronic controller that is configured to control a braking unit that is configured to brake at least one of a plurality of rotating bodies of a human-powered vehicle. The electronic controller is configured to control the braking unit upon determining an ABS control is performed to decrease a braking force of a first rotating body included in the plurality of rotating bodies so that a braking force of a second rotating body, which is different from the first rotating body and included in the plurality of rotating bodies, is increased by a force that is different from hydraulic pressure.

A brake control device includes an electronic controller that executes an ABS control on a rotating body of a human-powered vehicle. The electronic controller executes the ABS control based on a relationship between a first speed and a second speed related to the human-powered vehicle. A first portion of the power storing mechanism is disposed in a first power transmission path between the actuating element and the movable member, and a second portion of the power storing mechanism is disposed in a different second power transmission path between the actuating element and the movable member. The actuating element comprises a first actuating member and a second actuating member. The first actuating member communicates force in the first power transmission path, the second actuating member communicates force in the second power transmission path, and the first actuating member moves relative to the second actuating member.

Electrically operated derailleur with a power storing mechanism

A bicycle shifting control apparatus controls an electrical power supplied from a power supply to first and second gear shifting devices that are operated by first and second gear shift operating devices, respectively. The bicycle shifting control apparatus includes a first power supply sensor and a controller. The first power supply sensor detects a power level of the power supply. The controller receives a power level signal from the first power supply sensor. The controller performs a stopping operation of the first gear shifting device in response to the first power supply sensor detecting the power level of the power supply being below a first prescribed power level, but the controller transmits a second gear shift signal from the second gear shift operating device to the second gear shifting device to perform a second shifting operation of the second gear shifting device.

The control unit provides a first signal to command the bicycle device to move in a first manner when the power supply has a first characteristic, and the control unit provides a second signal to command the bicycle device to move in a different second manner when the power supply has a second characteristic.

Method and apparatus for controlling a bicycle transmission to compensate for power supply characteristics

A bicycle display device is configured to accurately verify an amount of adjustment occurring when performing a fine adjustment of a transmission position of a transmission device. The bicycle display device is mounted on a bicycle, and includes a mounting part and a display element. The mounting part is attachable to a brake bracket of the bicycle. The display element is supported by the mounting part, and is configured and arranged to display a fine adjustment display screen for indicating the amount of adjustment when adjusting the transmission position of a transmission device such as a rear derailleur.

Bicycle display device

A bicycle component is configured with an axle fixing structure. In the preferred embodiment, the bicycle component is an electric derailleur. The bicycle component has a base member rotatably supported on an axle. Preferably, the axle includes a shaft portion with a head portion disposed adjacent a first end of the shaft portion for limiting axial movement of the base member in a first axial direction of the shaft portion, and a threaded portion disposed adjacent a second end of the shaft portion with external threads. A first locking member is threaded onto the external threads and configured to limit axial movement of the base member in a second axial direction of the shaft portion. Preferably, a second locking member is threaded into the internal threads of the second end of the shaft portion to secure the first locking member on the fastening portion of the axle.
