A detecting unit generates detection signals corresponding to a plurality of ranges aligned in one direction along a moving direction of a detection body, based on a change in the magnetic field constantly received by a detecting element from the detection body. A signal processing unit acquires a detection signal from the detecting unit, compares the detection signal with a threshold value, and identifies a position of the detection body as a position of any one of a plurality of ranges based on a combination of a magnitude relationship between the detection signal and the threshold value. A detection body has a plurality of region portions corresponding to a plurality of ranges. The plurality of region portions are configured to be connected stepwise in the moving direction of the detection body within a plane of a detection surface facing the detecting unit of the detection body.

Position sensor

A shift range control device switches a shift range by controlling driving of a motor. A learning unit learns, as a position correction value, a normal state time correction value calculated based on first and/or second reference angles when an output shaft signal is available when turning on of a start switch. The first reference angle is a motor angle when the output shaft signal changes in response to the rotation of the motor in a first direction. The second reference angle is the motor angle when the output shaft signal changes in response to the motor rotation in a second direction opposite to the first direction. A motor angle target value is set by using the normal state time correction value stored during a period from when all the output shaft signals are determined to be unavailable to when the start switch is turned off.

Shift range control device

A shift range control apparatus controls a shift range switching system that switches shift ranges by controlling driving of a motor. This control apparatus calculates a motor angle based on a motor rotation angle signal, acquires an output shaft signal based on a rotation position of an output shaft from an output shaft sensor, sets a target rotation angle based on a target shift range and the output shaft signal, and controls driving of the motor such that the motor angle becomes the target rotation angle. The control apparatus sets the target rotation angle to a target limit value, in response to the target rotation angle that is set based on the output shaft signal being a value at which rotation occurs that is further toward a back side in a rotation direction than the target limit value that is set based on shift ranges before and after switching.

Shift range control apparatus

A shift range control device includes a signal receiver, an abnormality monitor, and a drive controller. The signal receiver acquires an encoder signal from an encoder capable of outputting three or more phase encoder signals having different phases. The abnormality monitor monitors an abnormality of the encoder. The drive controller controls drive of a motor by switching an energized phase of a motor winding so that a rotation position of the motor becomes a target rotation position according to a target shift range. When the abnormality of the encoder is detected, the driver controller drives the motor by faulty phase identification control to identify a faulty phase that is a phase in which an abnormality of the encoder signal occurs, and a normal phase in which the encoder signal is normal.

A shift range control apparatus controls switching of a shift range by controlling driving of a motor, and includes a signal acquisition unit and a drive control unit. The signal acquisition unit acquires rotation angle signals output from a rotation angle sensor. The rotation angle signals respectively represents three or more phases different from each other. The drive control unit controls the driving of the motor to cause a rotational position of the motor to reach a target rotational position corresponding to a target shift range. The drive control unit changes from an energization pattern in a normal state to an energization pattern and continues the driving of the motor, in response to detecting a fault of the rotation angle signal during the switching of the shift range.

According to one embodiment, a pattern forming method is disclosed. The method includes preparing a processed body including a substrate having a first face, a first layer provided on the first face, a second layer provided on the first layer, and a photosensitive lyophilic/lyophobic original material provided on the second layer. The method includes performing a first process of irradiating light onto one of a first portion at a first position of the material and a second portion at a second position of the material, and making a first contact angle of a liquid with a first region of an upper face of the processed body relatively larger than a second contact angle of the liquid with a second region of the upper face. The method includes performing a first pattern forming process of forming a first pattern by bringing the liquid into contact with the second region.
